NGL this is the first time I've actually seen Aphelios gameplay in League, so when I saw the health bar and stuff I went "WTF is that?"

The thing about early aphelios is that you always go for damage on him , it’s not good to go attack speed. like instead of noon quiver you can go double ling sword and pickaxe

You could put a bot throwing random abilities and a main Aphelios side by side and I swear I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

As an Aphelios main, it hurt my soul watching you never putting your guns in the right order and often getting a very... useless pair of guns.

I still don't know what that champ does.

Half the time I play is with friends and it’s way more enjoyable. We have a group of over ten that we regularly play with. We do 5v5 every now and then if there’s enough on. Most of the time though it’s a 5 man since not everyone is on. Been doing this for years and I love it.

Really enjoyed this but I’d like to see more where you’re more comfortable with his combos and explain them to viewers

I'm not playing Alphe much but I think you need to use ulti with white gun to collect those boomerang things then switch back to red gun for the skill to make it op

Day 9 asking for the Perfect Team comp. Zwag plays whatever champ he wants to carry with. Toplane goes tank Zac, tons of cc and health. Jungle goes Nunu, lots of free ganks. Adc goes Zilean, decent laning, E and R to keep Zwag alive and running around. Support goes Yuumi, tons of healing. New idea: Either toplane or adc could go Kayle for the R and hyperscaling so Zwag isn't the only win condition. (On the other hand, Zwag could go Kayle and that's the hyper carry with the Perfect Team.)

For the gun rotation all you want to do is deplete red first then the last gun you were holding every time

Play this again please, that FF ruined it. He is a extremely complicated champ but very strong. I have 30 games on him and still figuring out what guns go together, reserve ammo, when and where to use it most effectively and that is the part that makes him difficult to learn. No way in hell someone will ever master this champ to perfection. For me I like to go lifesteal/crit/atk speed. BT, overheal and his built in shield he can get one massive shield. Still want to try steraks and cringe bow for more shields but that would lower his damage early to mid and most likely shine late game but games these days are less than 30 minutes.

He has some pretty good AP ratios as well. I’m sure a lot of us would like to see an AP-helios video 😂

I actually try hard to play Aphelios and learn him in depth. The combos are the easiest part tbh, the hard thing is trying not to get yourself into massive sh*t while trying those combos (or not paying attention to your environment). You focus so much on your attacks that you don t often pay attention to ur health bar or enemy attacks.. or maybe just in my case 😅

you can definitely tell you've been having way more fun with the group than some of the solo vids, having friends to play with and knowing they aren't going to be garbage really does make for more fun matches and content! that said your solo content is still great though the issues lately really been exhausting you :(

With Aphelios, it helps to remember that each gun has a particular effect, and ability. Sniper (Cyan), Heal (Red), CC(Purple), Splash (Blue), and Point Blank (White). His Q applies his main gun's ability with his off gun's effect, and his R is the same ultimate for every gun and applies his main gun's effect. Aphelios is only good at what his current two guns are. If he has Blue and Purple, he's an AoE CC monster. Don't clump. If he has Red and White, he's a point blank monster. Don't get close. If he's got Cyan and Purple, he's good at catching. Dodge his skillshots. If he's got White, don't run through his turret.

please please please do full crit galio! his passive scales with 100% AD and can crit and does an aoe effect I wanna see you 1 shot a whole back line

Aphelios becomes _a hell of a lot_ more manageable once you realize that he's still just an auto-attacker at his core, and that all his weapons & combos -- all his "complexity" -- are just bells & whistles tacked onto his right-clicks.

I would love to see you do this again but understanding how the champion works. I learn a lot from watching you play and explaining the finer points of a champions mechanical tricks!

It was fun seeing you like "learning" a new champ. Sucks they ff'd so early. I felt like it was just getting good. I'd watch some more Aphelios vids in the future.

I'd recomend trying ap or lethality aphelios for a more interesting way to play him. The ap build has a surprising amount of burst damage, and the lethality build allows you to do true damage due to all the lethality your items and passive give

I picked up that champ recently and have honestly been having a lot of fun playing him. Aphelios loves crit and pen and when it comes to leveling, he gets stats instead of ability levels which is pretty cool. ^^ Max out your damage, then your pen, and finally your attack speed. Weapon rotation(going by colors) should be G, P, B, R, W. Best combinations in my opinion are R/W, G/W, G/P, and B/R.

Aphelios is one of the most fun and rewarding champs to learn IMO, nobody just wants to take the time to learn him. Def worth playing a few games and understanding his combos.

Nice you play one of my main champs. Red gun plus the gun that gives tureet is one of best combo. Cause with Q with red you'll stack the other fun to have more stuff to throw and is faster at short distance as towers , very OP with lethal tempo also. Flame thrower also good to have when throwing ultimate to a bunch of enemies.

I didnt play League since season 7 and for sure I cannot understand shit about this champ. He just feels so weird with these skills like he is a character from another video game.

Day 3 of asking Zwag to do a burst/infinite dashes lucian build! The power spike is at navori because lucian can already kite but thanks to his passive the bonus autos will crit and reset his dash even faster. Usually by the time you are done rotating through his Q+AA+W+AA, dash will be back and you can do burst damage consistently because navori also resets q+w. Please try this build Zwag! I this is my first time suggesting a build and it would mean the WORLD to me. Thank and have an amazing day. I edited the mythic after being informed that sheen passives don’t stack. I guess this comment will be buried, but I hope not. Zwag, judging by your recording issues, you might need a faster SSD - typically read/write speed will be the limiting factor with higher quality recordings. I would recommend running Process Explorer (by Microsoft) in parallel, perhaps during a test recording to see if you're maxing out your IO read/writes, CPU, RAM or GPU. Could also be temperature throttling, since it's mid summer. MSI Afterburner shows temps and CPU/GPU throttling.

Hello Zwag nice video, I really like your videos. Day 39 of asking to go Olaf Mid. Please try Olaf Mid (as i name it the new meta because I destroy every Yasuo, Yone, Zed or some other champions, i discovered some mages like Akali aren't a good match up) With this build i don't leave the lane for like 8 minutes and I can kill them everytime with zero items just a Dorans Shield and I think Olaf hase some Life Steal too. Take Ignite with Flash or Ghost, the Ignite is a must in the early fight. You begin with Q than W than E and you max Q first than W. At first you go: Dorans sheild with a potion Armor boots Divine Sunderer Deaths Dance Thornmail The last 2 items are your choice, you could go something else depends on the match ups idk. And for the runes you go: Lethal Tempo With Triumph With Legend Alacrity With Last Stand And for the secondary you go: Bone Plating With Overgrowth

J4 top with grasp. Sense j4 passive does current health damage an q reduces armor then add grasp damage you should be able to kill anyone lv2. Tiger stance udyr with prowlers. Lockdown skarner with glacier and everfrost. You can just ruin someone's day

Aphelios is proof that the LoL community just wants new champs to be overpowered rehashes of old champs (plus extra dashes), rather than having them be new and interesting. His kit and playstyle are something completely different and refreshing, but nobody likes him because you need to use your brain to learn him.

Just please don't get BunnyFuFu or The Glacier for your 5th if they still play, please. I can't stand them. Prof. Akali has calmed down a lot but I still don't like him tooooo much cause of previous content. But, he fits in well with the group so far and is a lot more mature than he used to be.

Aphelios is one of the champions that scale extremely well with experience. And not in-game experience, so if Zwag decides to pick him up he'll have the permanent buff of knowing how to play a champion almost no one understands how.

Zwag, Heinz, ioki, and prof Akali is a solid group 👌. You guys all compliment each other through humor. All you need now is a dedicated ADC friend.

The chakram attacks faster the closer you stand to your enemy. If you stand next to a turret with 80 attack speed you can attack it with 2.50 attacks per second. Combined with bouncy chakrams you deal enough damage to solo a baron at 20 minutes

I feel like Aphelios could work better if you could only carry 2 set guns at any one time, but could change your loadout freely at base, allowing for more reliable Aphelios builds/playstyles while keeping the reload as a form of resource management/downtime

He has no problems with piercing. It is very interesting to see what he can do as a mage with the construction of varus samples. That's why he actually has magical damage. But I have never seen a video with experiments in this field.
