Hey I'm I'm 8 years old and I really want to watch the videos a lot I like how you do them and how you let people join servers of yours couldn't teach me how to join them or sponsor me and one of them please and I'm also in third grade can you please help me join your server
Tip: use standing torces rather than campfires for hatching eggs. This is better because they are cheaper to make, can be crowded closer together, and consume wood much slower
High wood consumption is nice due to charcoal production I imagine, especially when pressed for time, you will want to do as many things at a time as possible
Seems like a lot of fun and was a good battle, but agreed that was kinda some BM on Veno's part just killing himself for two days straight and zerging the portal, maybe something to add a new rule for at the end, such as "killing yourself after day 95 or so to avoid capture is admission of defeat and you lose" I dunno, just seems dirty but was funny
To be fair, the hunter could just place a lot of turrets or guard animals around the portal. Just keep killing them until they can either find a way around it or allow themselves to be captured.
@@SolarBrain4128 Yeah but they'd have to do this at all three portals, and it would almost be BM in my opinion on the hunters part to do that. On top of that it would require a lot of resource and time to create enough to guarantee the person couldn't slip through, and would also mean they're assuming the persons gonna do this kinda stuff xD
Yea, Veno killing himself to avoid being captured was such a cowardly move... definitely need to add an additional rule for the next one that you can't intentionally kill yourself to avoid capture after x days.
Just so people know, you can see from Veno's PoV that he only killed himself on purpose once. The time in the water he died BECAUSE he was tranquilized underwater, and when he disappeared from the cliff, he actually just ran away and escaped, didn't die.
@@bellidrael7457 You're trolling right? How is the fact that he suicide on purpose to spawn near a further obby to upload not in question? It's a scummy tactic. Axe has no idea which one he spawned at making him have to search every one of them from his dragon, which isnt nearly fast enough to make it to all 3 before Veno can run to one and upload. I can't stand people who defend cheaty behavior like this.... Oh and he did suicide more then once, he even confirmed it himself. New rules are being set for the next one to avoid this in the future, and thank god for that. Axe worked way to hard only to be cheated out of a win.
It seems like suicide seems a little too powerful in this game, I think one thing that could balance this out is maybe requiring the upload of survivor only having a specific item with the extraction. This would make it to where a player can't just keep killing themselves to wild dinos to evade capture
Underrated comment. This is actually a brilliant idea. I would suggest something that requires multiple crafting stations to produce, like a Fabricated pistol or something similar.
Suggestion Make a rule that you can’t purposefully kill your self with fire or drowning to avoid capture. Fall damage may be allowed and Dino’s are a wild card but no fire or drowning
@@firesniper1216 yeah but it was still a cheap trick. It forced Axeman into a position where they were unable to win rather than having Veno outsmart or outrun them
@@firesniper1216 It makes it kind of unfun though .... I mean if you just wanted to win you could just wedge yourself between some rocks in a cave somewhere and only come out at night to get the minimum of food and water before returning to hidng ... would be a boring series though

Great follow up sequel and awesome intro! I knew there would be more challenges because of this map. I'd have panicked in the first few days. Worth the wait. I enjoyed it so much. Thanks Axe and Veno!
These are unreasonably entertaining. I love how Axeman and friends make whole narratives inside the game’s ecosystem. I play by myself because I enjoy the exploration more than any fighting aspects, and I’ve learned some good stuff from these vids (along with just being fun to watch).
Is that ending scene what I think it is? Axe and Veno will try this on Aberration? If they do, they're absolutely crazy! In a good way^^ Great video, I enjoyed it very much. True, a coward tactic of Veno in the end, but to be fair... stealing almost all of his dinos with a wyvern isn't exactly the way of a hero either. When Veno did it (in the first 100 days video), he only grabbed a few, Axe grabbed like ten or so. On the other hand all is fair in war. I am surprised what a search it was. On Scorched Earth, where there are so few possibilities to hide, I assumed it would be all hunting. Imagine this on aberration, they will never find each other :)
Stealing dinos is totally fair, I would even say that it's expected, but killing yourself to avoid capture seems very cheap to me. Anyway they should set more specific rules next time.
@@insidethelyrics it’s cause there are ways to prevent stealing dinos, such as cryopods or a roof. But if the hunted has organic polymer in their inventory? Nothing you can do to stop them. One tactic has legitimate counters that make the game more interesting, the other is basically uncounter-able (beyond reasonable effort at least. Sure he could camp all the obelisks but that’s cheap on the hunter’s part). Plus, on Ab stealing dinos is going to be a lot harder. I worry though that whoever gets a drake first just wins, since it’ll be so hard to counter it without one of their own.
Make two new rules, 1. No killing yourself as a cheap way to run away and 2. If you kill him you win(though this one might be debatable since you needed to imprison him again and having to knock him out seems to add more difficulty)
@@fireathegamer2763 I agree too because all Veno needed to do was keep a box with organic polymer near the spawn locations and Axe would never have found him. Killing himself was a little cheap when he could've planned by having a thyla in a cave with a sleeping bag in case he died.
Here's an idea, why not make it so that the hunted has to actually activate one of the obelisks to actually officially win. This would allow for 3 potential escape routes and would force the hunted to not suicide spam to avoid capture since they can't activate a portal without the artifacts. Maybe house rule that they can only have one of each artifact at most at any time so they can only ever have 3 attempts at freedom at the end if they die rather than get captured (if this is on aberration allow up to 3 stacks of the items required to escape). Disallow building near obelisks so that the hunter can't just build an impenetrable defense at the escape point. this would also force the hunted to be very active as far as getting tames would go since you need them to do the caves and might get rid of some of the tedium in the mid game where you're just flying around forever looking for him. Parasaurs would give away which cave they were at but would also give rise to potential mind games. The hunter would need to keep tabs on all caves on top of looking for the enemies base while the hunted could kill parasaurs and bed teleport to ping locations to mess with the hunter. There's potentially nothing stopping the hunted, as is, from just playing a super turtly boring style where they just hide in a nearly impossible to find location and just sit pretty for 100 days. The changes made this time around were a step in the right direction but more must be made if you plan to do this again.
Few suggestions: 1. Use hatchet instead of pickaxe to harvest more skins (pelts in this case). 2. Did you try putting the baby raptor in the procoptodons pouch to get it out from under the foundation? 3. You could have made the ascendant shottie. The materials would be 5 slots to metal ingots (908 - 200 per stack) , 14 slots to paste (1362 - 100 per stack) and that leaves you with 51 slots. You could have combined Organic Polymer stacks of 20 with Polymer stacks of 100 in the 70 fabricator slots. That idea to carry around the Parasaur was genius.
You should've just said "Whoever reveals their base location last is a rotten egg." You'd have to sacrifice yourself but you'd find Veno's base much faster
This is great , loved the whole cat n mouse race, right to the end. You had him really, he took the cowards way out, but that means you'll just have to do it all over. Which map is next?? Can't wait...
I’m sure they made a rule against this for the next one, but be careful, as this kind of talk is what will cause them to consider cancelling the series. It’s all in good fun
I remember getting my first ever Wyvern on Ragnarock and it was a poison wyvern like your first one in the series. The funny thing is that it was a set of high level Triplets!!!
Im enjoying how this is so different than the 100 days survival and boss battles vids are - like the types of dinos you tame, the amount of movement done on base, etc is so different
In the first video I thought of this suicide tactic. Your goal is to capture him and if the hunted just constantly spam suicides it's impossible to lose since their loss condition is capture, not death. There's not really a way to fix this that I can think of either except just house rule it but even then what constitutes a "legit" death might be up in the air. You did mess up really badly by killing him rather than capturing him but then again you found him 3 more times in spite of that so honestly it feels like you won. Everything up until then was perfectly executed. The guerilla warfare and wearing him down over a long period of time was great. You could also abuse water by making underwater bases on the island map. It's physically impossible to bring the hunted out of one of the underwater base locations up to a cage before they die of drowning and building a cage in one of those locations could be nearly impossible if the hunted spammed enough foundations around. Veno knew this and abused it once in this very video when he jumped in the water at the end. Just like how you can't tame in water for the very same reason you can't capture someone in water before they drown.
I usually love these videos, but this ending was distasteful tbh. You had so many chances to get him and i feel like he just ruined the video with constantly killing himself at the end. It ruined the hype imo and should be banned from happening ever again. Not saying you should have won but he was definitely exploiting the respawns. I don’t consider him a winner for it just because of how cheezy it was.
The beginning of this gave me huge nostalgia for something and it took me a minute to realize it reminded me of red vs blue a little bit, one of my all time favorite RU-vid TV shows
Add a rule where you have to upload from a specific Obelisk. This makes it so if you have an overwhelming developmental lead over the other player you can just camp that obelisk and stop the upload. This makes killing yourself an ineffective strategy. Just btw if you keep these rules for your the next game you guys play you should just stay in the respawn screen until day 100, teach Veno a lesson ;)
6:07 reminds me of something that happened when I was playing Extinction yesterday. I was huddled in the corner of my 4-block house while a T-rex destroyed the roof, but I kept stabbing it in the face with a sword and since I was in the corner it just barely couldn't reach me. Eventually it died and I taxedermied it, the whole thing serious looked like something out of a movie XD
I love these videos! So intense in the final days. Anyone can make a survive 100 days video. But you two and your “catch me if you can” approach is so fun. Keep it up. You Sir, just got another subscriber.
Incase people need it I wanna tell u a tip the poison wyvern has aoe REALLY GOOD so you can kill people still on their mounts with the blast by simply hitting the main body of the mount super effective 👌
I think you two should add valueing life rule to the game, so there won't be coward moves allowed. Rule would work as followed: "If pray is being followed by a hunter, pray can't put themself in any danger, which can't be explained by running from aforemantioned hunter" Example: pray butt naked is running away from the hunter, and let's say sabertooth spots them and chases down the pray. If pray keeps on running and dies because it can't outrun a raptor, than it's all fair, but if pray stops midway letting it be killed, than it's breaking the rules. Tldr; you can't let you be killed on purpose when you're chased
I've actually started watching your videos again recently as I've gotten more into Ark.. And I've really enjoyed the hunter/hunted a lot! I enjoy all your videos really, but the hunter and hunted really stick out to me! I hope you do amazing Axe!
Watched both videos at the liquor store. This is a super fun series my dood. The last few days of veno running was insane. To be fair I agree with no self deleting to get away. Now that it’s your turn to run. Kinda play off what vino was doing. But better. Super small one maybe two foundations spread all over and make the map your base where you are always moving for spot to spot as needed. Never staying long
Def gonna have to see venos perspective cuz man he hid well in the first half. Just watched the first video with reversed roles and I'm hooked on this, can't wait for a series !!

If the campfires are too much at times, I find that a few fireplaces (the big stone ones) work very well. Just make a 2 by 1 foundation area, line it with the fireplaces (you don't need many), and it's plenty hot enough for the wyvern egg
Tip:next time you do this challenges try taming a micro raptor. Since i am sure u know that it can dismount players and stun them for a few seconds. And they can also fly making them able to stun the player mid air

Not exactly related to this video. But figured I'd share something I just came up with in case it helps someone out there. Haven't seen it mentioned yet online. So losing a tamed dino is a problem and other than using a mod there doesn't seem to be any good suggestions as to how to find them again. This idea takes a bit of work but I just tried it and it seems to work perfectly. Go and get a bunch of animals that are considered useless, I tried it with a dimorph. I think flyers are preferred because they aren't as bothered by terrain. Put it in a cage of some sort then while riding your main dino have that one follow you. It will lock onto the dino your on but won't actually be able to go anywhere. If you lose that dino or die while with it in an area you don't know how release the flyer and it will take you straight to the dino it's set to follow. This might be old news to many but I haven't seen anyone mention it and even MR. Axe lost a few dinos in this video. So there it is for what it's worth.
doed soak> anky. before turret targeting they were great soakers. good as turtles. also. day 97, your best option was to put up turrets, which you had, at 2 obs then hold down the fort at the 3rd with narco/ bear traps. far better than trying to find one random human.

you know for taiming dinos like the argie here 19:04 you should go on foot have one closed but one in your inv so when you get the argie in you then place the door so it closes quicker then closing it manuly then you can just run threw the holes between each gateway.
Btw you only really need two billboards to trap a roo, just place one directly in front of the Roos hit box that causes obstruction, then place one directly behind and take a position on the side of the billboard that is more open. That’s how I trapped all my kangaroos on scorched
What i do for hatching wyvern eggs is a two by two stone structures with a stone gate and 5 fire places works for me prety good however I typically play on 20x unofficially pc servers on xboxone so take my advice with a grain of salt
How to lure land creatures with a flying creature: pick up a tame or herbivore that the land creature will aggro to then fly Over the land creature such as a rock golem. Arks ai has wild creatures lose aggro on flying creatures by default. Exceptions to this rule is: stealing fertilized wild eggs, rare flower debuff, and I assume bile debuff.
