I went through this same thing, but people were not attacking me and being mean. Several people asked if I had bleached or lightened my skin. Which I didn’t…I just kept to myself reading The Word, praying, fasting, and moving in silence. Mind you these people saw me everyday at work and God was changing my appearance before their eyes.
