You really remind me of my to soon passed granddad. Giving life advice, perspective and meaning. (I've been too young to fathom the real value of his wisdom at that time.) My grandma passed before him and he struggled for quite some time - as we all did. I think time never heals all wounds but I think it makes grief and sorrow fade away and happiness and remembrance of the good times become more prominent. My deepest condolences. Take care. First off, I'm so very sorry for your loss. 💔 Watching your loved one's slow decline is truly heartbreaking. and I can very much relate. 😢 Secondly, I LOVE your videos and they've soothed me on many evenings when I was feeling stressed and anxious. I can but fuzzily recount the first time I came across your channel- a young, young teenager at the time- it feels like ages ago. Through both the whims of fate, the all powerful RU-vid algorithm and my own curiosity, I came across this video after, admittedly, a long hiatus away from your content. The person I hear now, listen to stories from in this video is the same voice I heard all those years ago; gentle and kind, curious and calming. There is no doubt your wife spends her days listening to that same voice, wherever that may be.

Your ideas and perspective on life have made me strive to be a better person. I’m going through a very difficult time at the moment in relation to my own health. Your ability to push forward despite what must have been a deeply upsetting, scary period of your life is a real eye opener for me and something I consider when I’m feeling worried. R, thank you for such a lovely video. I’ve been experiencing more anxiety lately after a great month (it’s frustrating that I get better only to feel anxiety all over again). Watching this before work is helping me feel more at ease. There are no words to let you know how sorry I am that your wife has passed. I hope you find peace and healing during this time from such a loss. We'll always be here waiting in case you need to take some time off. However, sometimes some people have actually found that pursuing what they enjoy takes their mind off from things, if only for a short time.

i am so sorry for your loss. i know the passing of a loved one is more difficult than words can describe. your india ink youtube video was the first one i ever watched, the first time i ever got tingles. i was in a very rough place in my life, and this discovery genuinely helped me relax through the distress. know that you have made many peoples' lives better. stay strong, it will all be okay.
