I have a 2022 23MK. I have the icemaker and mini fridge. But the door opens down and creates a place to sit drinks etc. We have 2 outside showers. The one beside the icemaker we use to add water to icemaker. Looks like there may be a griddle, on this one but you didn't say. My set up is ok the way the door opens. But with a griddle there it is too much going on. I love the zebra blinds in them all, however in the bedroom they go with a different blind that I don't like. They should make them all zebra. Live the shower in this one. I agree about the plastic toliets. This is nice unit, but being Newbies. We certainly needed a shorter, lighter unit. Great video. 😊
Well done, Matt and Wil! You make a good team! This TT has nice storage. Shower fail, toilet fail and carpet on the slide fail. Bedroom is roomy, floor plan is good and windows are amazing
Hello Matt and Wil!! I love the pantry, the big windows, layout. Don't like plastic toilets, the dark wood, the carpet in the slide. Great review guys! 👍👍❤❤
Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the bathroom has a great shower but not with the sky light in wring spot. I also didn’t like the toilet. Not porcelain. Didn’t like the shower head with the outdoor kitchen. My likes the living room area and the bedroom. Liked size of shower. And I also love that there’s two doors you can walk in and out of. Thank you Matt and Wil. And Rv One of Charlotte.
I really like this trailer except no kitchen counter space. After looking at the floor plan, I see the possibility of building an island with wheels that scoots back even with the kitchen cabinets and still allows the slide to close.
The living room is great. The bar is awesome with that you really don't need the dining area could have put in an office area there. Really don't like those blinds they make you dizzy when you move them, my grandson would play with them and laugh.
Love this setup! I would have taken out the 2 recliner seats and got more space in the kitchen. Possible put a bigger table and maybe taken out the dining table slide.
nice one, agree on dislikes and likes, do not mind folding stairs at front, that televator or lack thereof is strange, but since they know people often like their own tv anyway, you could just toss an 85 inch up there when get parked, but would have to stow it away somewhere in travel, mounting it by base not good idea.
Floorplan is their version of rear living, no problem with that. Dislikes , thumb screw latch fasteners on compartments, dinette ( who like them, got other bed options) could have added more counter for kitchen, bathroom ( plastic toilets , baby skylight). Noticed they didn't clean out front cabinet before shipping. Likes, shades, room to dress in bedroom, no carpet.
Three likes: 1. That living room is awesome! 2. The kitchen is not too small, not too big, just right. 3. The windows, wow! Dislikes: 1. I still hate the zebra shades (they can be changed I guess but, not a fan!) 2. The lack of televator and a plastic toilet… misses there. And are those lights LED outside? 3. This should be a fifth wheel. Towing this is going to be terrible due to the length. It’s practically a destination trailer but without destination trailer high-end trim. I don’t know if this makes sense from a market perspective. It’s too much for a noob but not enough for a vet getting their 2nd or 3rd trailer, know what I mean? It’s nice, but both too much and not enough at the same time.
LIKE THE OUTSIDE KITCHEN THE KITCHEN THE LIVING ROOM DON’T LIKE ZEBRA SHADES THE PLASTIC TOILET THE CARPET UNDER THE TABLE AND COUCH MATT IT HAS 2 OUTSIDE SHOWERS ON BOTH SIDES MATT AND ANDREA HAPPY HALLOWEEN BE SAFE AND WILL AND JENN HAPPY HALLOWEEN BE SAFE
I love mine got it back in August but I only paid 41k for mine 57k is way to much the outside theater and kitchen is awsome the shower head in the outside kitchen only gets used to fill the ice maker on ours. And people upset about counter space I don't understand that as you have the whole bar as counter space. I like that I can do dishes in the kitchen and still see the TV in the living room. I just wish the awning was larger
@@chrisshaffner7308 ah lol that don't bother me I've yet to use the flush on mine so I forgot all about it. I just hold the peddle down on the toilet to flush mine out
Absolutely love the layout! But, I hate the execution. Plastic toilet, jackknife sofas lack of kitchen counter space. I think any trailer longer than 30’ shouldn’t be a price point focused trailer.
Hmmm. First likes: living room/kitchen area. Bedroom is very nice. Lots of windows. Dislikes: lack of porcelain toilet, lack of counter space in kitchen and no TVs.
I dislike the smallish kitchen, the small window/dark wood/lack of drawers in the bedroom, and the TV (I thought it was a televator). I love the living room furniture, the windows, and the shower is OK for me. It's very nice but the bedroom looks cheap compared to the living room.
Pros: amazing window coverage, love the rear den, and the blinds are cool. Cons: 1.overall length. The grand design imagine 3100rd is basically identical to this but instead of having 2 slides on the driver's side, they have a super slide thus making that 35'11 total length. 2. The floor to ceiling window. It's nice and all, but I think it'd offer more privacy if it was half the height. 3. Black tank flush on the campsite side.
The black tank flush is on the opposite side as the doors outside kitchen and outside theater u don't camp on the same side as the doors? And for its size it tows great only has a 900 pound tongue weight from factory
@@xcowboyx27xlx80 If you pause the video at 2:58 you can see he points out the black tank flush is on the camp side. Its kind of a terrible spot, not sure if Rockwood still does it but they used to have their tank flush on the camp side as well.
@@xcowboyx27xlx80 It's all good ha ha. I think it's pretty stupid to have it on the camp side. Makes absolutely no since in my eyes to have it on the opposite side as the sewer stuff. My camper is old so I use a flush wand in the toilet too.
No slide hardware on the under-dinette drawers. No slam-latches on ANY outside vertical doors, and apparently no magnetic catches either? I'd prefer no rear slides, just windows there and a wall in the back to mount the screen.
Don't like the couches blinds are not good for people with seizures island/bar is flimsy kitchen could be larger bathroom is a big fail..bedroom is OK, windows are OK stairs are great.
I was all in until...awkward shower sky light, wasted space with oven when that could be storage, and that out door shower coupled with fridge and stove and ice maker? What's was that about???
Hey Matt and Will!" Happy Halloween"!🤗 Just a short comment to say keep on doing what you're doing with the ladder🌄🧗♂️ and skip part!🤭👍- I actually miss commenting there.😢Hopefully, I'[[ get a chance to get those comments in! Not exactly a fan of the dark color, but everything else (flooring, cabinetry, seating, for ex.) seems to be functional in the right areas of the trailer. Alright, take care, guys!🎺🎺🎺🥗!
One thing I dislike about this video is that you did not talk of the awning. I can see that it doesn’t cover that first door but does it cover the second door. I looked the whole time of the video for the second brace snd never saw it. Otherwise great review.
why do dual slide out's and only put sofa's there? Seems like a waste of space. Those recliners obviously couldn't stay where they were either as the slide would hit them,.,. IDK I think for those opposing slides it's a waste of space . You can tell the designers never use these things/
I actually like having the 2nd steps as the old school style, this gives you interior access while in storage or in a tight parking spot without having to remove the solid steps. Interesting outdoor kitchen, I would use a normal outdoor multi sprayer instead of a shower head. I like the zebra shades just did not like having them on every window in the other unit y'all reviewed. The bathroom is just ehhh cause of the shower and toilet
Dislikes: too big in length for the features it has. All that sitting space and minimal space for storage of clothes if living 6-8 people. Have sleeper sofa instead of jack knife beds. Refrig is small for 40 footer. Hate those zebra blinds.
I hate those shades. I don't like where the TV goes because the top isn't flush all the way across. I don't like the jackknife sofa because it's smashed in between the walls. I don't like the bar (and the flimsiness). The ceiling is too low. The kitchen is way too small. The bathroom sucks. I don't understand why you were so excited about this unit. Smh.
LIKE: barstools facing into living room (can always reinforce those barstools OR buy more sturdy ones) LIKE: number of windows LIKE: outside kitchen DISLIKE: no tv’s (just my opinion) ESPECIALLY IN THE LIVING ROOM! DISLIKE: placement of floor vents (especially the one between the kitchen and barstools) DISLIKE: shower
Sorry, but I’m not paying $57,000 for a stick and tin trailer with no ladder, no TV, no dinette drawer glides, no backsplash behind the stove and a plastic toilet👎
