I have NEVER seen THIS Camaro issue before…

This is a new issue I have never seen before… have you? These options shouldn’t be showing on my dash and I’m confused on why they started to. Needless to say, I’ll be taking in to the dealer as soon as I can.

I have a 22 ss and I had almost the same thing happen where it was telling me air bag service traction service and everything and sometimes the car wouldn't even start. I took it to chcvy they replaced the bcm but still happened and the problem was a side marker light got water into and messed everything up since then 0 problems

They told Me any aftermarket lights also cause this problem

I've had the flashing dash, I noticed it usually happens when I don't warm the car up first and take off right after starting. I also noticed that recently, there's a new screen on my link, when showing Google maps, Apple play, and last route. It's almost a tri- screen that goes to a split screen after some time.

I gotchya, I always let my car warm up first and still had the flashing issue back then but it luckily stopped. I haven’t heard of any instances of the other issue you’re having yet

Hey I think its a power/voltage system issue. Nothing it says can be trusted until the power is solved. It might be the pc under the steering wheel, improper volatge makes these pcs go crazy. Maybe a bad ground if u live in the rust but doubt it.

Had a similar issue with my 16ss where it thought it was a GMC Sierra since they all use the same guage cluster. But that was a voltage issue where my battery was dead and needed a jump.

Thanks for the comment. I gotchya, my battery seems to be fine right now, I’ve disconnected it once and it didn’t work, I’ll try it again at some point before bringing it in

Haha your Camaro forgot it’s a Camaro. Software is definitively out of sync somehow. I’m sure only the dealer can fix it so good thing you’re booked

I’m having the same problem with the lights flashing on dashboard . But it only does it when I cut lights on. Do you know anything that could be the problem?

That’s how my first issue started as well. I cut my lights off so I wouldn’t be blinding my neighbors across the street at 5 am letting the car warm up and it started doing it. Most likely the same, an anomaly in the software

Unfortunately no updates available, hopefully the dealer can just reset it or something. I mentioned to them it’s still under warranty so it should be free!
