It's not, though. A HDC wouldn't have the first loop pull through. It's a different stitch.

It's literally a HDC one row and BLO SS the next. It's just ribbing using different stitches than SC and BLO SC. Idk what you're talking about. If this isn't HDC please explain how a HDC is supposed to be done. This is literally a DC only done halfway. Edit: I just watched several tutorials in case I had been taught wrong in spite of every pattern I've done with HDC and this was how the stitch was done. It IS a HDC. Idk what you're doing, but I'd love to see it. You may have come up with a new stitch yourself.

Eu faço crochê assim, com o dedo indicador esquerdo levantado, mas eu dou 2 voltas de linha no dedo, pq 1 volta só, para mim fica frouxa a tensão do ponto, com 2 voltas, eu regulo a tensão.

Yep I know my afghan would come out wavy because there's no way I could make every slip stitch loose enough. I'd get going at mach speed then realize they're too tight. Lol

@@annies3631 and Heide Aguirre Hi Ladies! I used to have the same problem until I learned a trick. Simply use a larger hook to make your beginning chain, or slip stitches, as you call them. If you're going to use a 4mm hook for the pattern, use a 5mm hook for the beginning chain of slip stitches! It's a wonderful way to avoid wavy fabric or too tight stitches! Try this method and see if it helps you as much as it did me!
