No, but what the hell is wrong with ME? I've watched Miraculous countless times, presume myself an expert, and the last tiem I watched was probably few months ago but I was tripping. When Felicity asked Matthew what Alya's name was, I was so confused when she said it started with an "A". I was like "Wrong Felicity. It's Lila." How the hell did I confuse them?

I mean.. she had to think of something on the spot. Its most likely one of those things where you say it confidently in the moment and at some point in the future, probably right as youre drifting off to sleep, it pops into your mind as it finally sinks in and you cringe in horror and regret.

@@alexandruulesan7009 Well I think it needs to be constantly reminded that Chloe was not supposed to have a redemption arc, the one she had was somewhat superficial, and having both her parents akumatized with Ladybug failing to help or come to her for help while the bad guy made a better offer worked in setting her back and I like that we pivoted to a corruption arc of her bringing her to her lowest point, and I see that Gabriel has lost it with time and become more desperate that he's become more focused on the ends than the means, like he seems to believe everything will be fixed when he reaches his goal so he might as well do whatever evil it takes with the idea it will all be made right later, and I can understand and believe those, and don't think my enjoyment should be hampered, I should just make sense of the series and Season 5 has been going hard, the finale is something really cool to me and I understand why Adrien would be left out, given the final request, they may not be perfect but I still find plenty to enjoy from them, and I wish more people could look past the flaws and enjoy more of what's good about them

I kept watching it cause even if it wasn't progressing the plot, it was still fun and I liked watching the episodic parts as much as the plot parts

Yes!!! Agreed! Emotion is one of my favorite season 5 episodes!

The thing is that Gabriel did start off by trying to save his wife and improve his son’s life and help Nathalie as much as she did for him, but the powers of the Miraculous and the villainy blinded him and he suddenly became focused on fighting teenage superheroes and getting revenge on them which was strange. My take is that he never did really love Adrien (eg. In Chat Blanc when he knew Adrien was Chat Noir but didn’t even hesitate to hurl him off the Eiffel Tower) or not at least after Emilie died anyway. Nathalie was clearly upset because although she participated in the villain stuff, she also had a clear goal to bring Emilie back and save everyone - her goal was not to fight, but if she had to fight then she would. Gabriel was actually psycho tbh like he didn’t care that everyone was going to get hurt, but rather that his ego wasn’t satisfied until he saw Ladybug crumble, so he turned evil against those he loved and paid the consequences of his actions too, by dying in the final episode of S5.

I mean...they cooked...they just cooked something with a terrible after taste. Could have worked if they just made it clear gabe was literally being driven insane from using the miraculous and suffering side effects that caused him to act like a akum victim. It would explain the hyperfixation, increased agression, him making dumb mistakes and being unable to see alternative ways to solve the problem because akuna victims get the same way and are willing to hurt loved ones where only occasionally a loved one can slow them down of affect them like ivan in horrificator and adrien in santa claws ir mari in evilstrator. I mean they tried to echo it with referencing the collector episode but that was so long ago and the show has spent so long trying to undermine any nuance gabs had it feels off since they don't specifically bring it up as a explination whoch could use how we all know people aren't REALLY themselves when under the influence of the miraculous. And over all it gets worst considering how they handled chloe unless their goal is that mari is wrong that chloe is irredeemable but mari never finds that out.

The season 4 finale is still my favorite though. I loved Marinette's panic attack when she lost the miraculouses. My ranking is: Season 4, season 2, season 3, season 5, and season 1. But I'm very indiferrent about the Season 3 finale. I was fun to watch if you've never seen the show before. But I think it would have been a better if Miracle Queen happened in the middle of season two and if Wasp Queen had been the finale for season 3. The animation was more clean in the first three seasons. And I like Volpina. It was great character introduction but it wasn't as big scale as the other finales. What's your ranking?

As a ranking of seasons I'd rate it like this:Season 5,Season 2,Season 4,Season 1 and Season 3.Im debating a lot whether I prefer season 1 or 4.Season 3 is at the bottom cause I absolutely hated the finale. However it does have some gem episodes
