You’re the only person on RU-vid that is open talking about grey hair. So many people will secretly colour. When I found my first grey early in my 20’s I thought I was the only one apart from the the women on RU-vid who are going natural. Keep being transparent and open. It’s refreshing.
I started going grey in my teens! Finally grew it out at 35, honestly wish I’d done it at 25 because it’s so liberating! Not to mention the grey brings a lot of light to the face and makes my hair feel so much healthier and shinier! Most women I meet of all ages tell me they’re really grey beneath the hair colour. 🤍🤍
I appreciate the transparency Amelia. As a viewer, I don't expect you to be happy and bubbly and "on" all the time either; I think acknowledging it in-video, something like "it's a bit of a low day"-be it whatever "low" means to you, is a perfectly fine way to recognize the feelings and "share" them with us, allowing all involved, you and us, to temper our expectations.

OMG! I love that you addressed how your personal life impacted your ability to do your job. We all go through it and it’s odd when you hear it from the perspective of a content creator as your “job” is so much more front-facing. Amelia, to be honest I love seeing you at both high and low. Not that I would want you to be unhappy or anything but seeing someone happy 100% is not real. For me as a viewer, I follow "real people" on RU-vid. I'm aware they are humans and not actresses and I expect them to keep it real with their audience. If I need a laugh or something fun to watch, I would watch a movie and not a RU-vidr. Because, why would I expect only positivity, happiness, laughter from you? Also, as a person who suffered from depression, it is always so encouraging to see others talk about this too. Again, not that I would want anyone to have depression but to say "Oh wow, I never thought she had depression. See, this illness does come in all shapes and forms, you are not alone!" This was a long comment from a long time silent watcher because I'm tired of "let's keep this a positive place". No, we are mostly women in their late 20s/30s here. Let's keep this place an empowering, amazing, inclusive, supporting place with all feelings included 🤍

I’ve been following u way before Pia but I remember the first time I saw her on ur vlogs and my first impression was that she’s a pure angel!!! She deserves the world and bless her, that reaction made me cry🥰❤️im so happy u could do that for her!!!! 😶Amelia grey hair and me go back to a decade ago im 29now and I too struggle with them thanks to the genes. Mine comes with the specific type of genes that will make ur hair go grey if u overthink or get sad deeply!!!!😒as an overthinker i now have close to 50% of my head to b grey hair! I dont hate them but i dont like them on the display either so i went blonde for my highlights (ive got really dark hair naturally) and now they blend in with my dyed hair better. My go to saying to myself: dont care they show how cute u r and how much uve overcame! For ur comment about u being low, girl we all go thru it! Dont apologize! ❤️ as humans we should all understand!

I stopped colouring my hair at 45 and I wish I'd done it sooner. It was a divisive move at the time but I get so many compliments from random strangers it's unreal. I wish I'd just let it go when I started going grey (at 25), but I didn't have the confidence back then. I say go with the grey!

They are God’s highlights and look amazing! I used to pull my greys out and then thought if I keep this up, one day I’ll have no hair left, so I chose to love my grey hairs! My grandpa was almost completely grey in his 20s and had the most gorgeous silver hair ever! I aspire to having a gorgeous silver mane one day! 😍 I also think embracing your natural skin color is a lovely choice as well, no matter how fair or how dark! It’s just not the look when streaky, patchy or Oompa Loompa-ish fake tans are happening... and it seems like they happen more often than not. The dead giveaways are bad hands, feet, elbows and knees! Even some of the best still ruin the desired look with concentration of “tan” in challenging areas. You have a beautiful natural complexion! 🥰 Happy you are back to your natural disposition and you’ve turned the corner on your depression. It can often feel insurmountable when feeling so down or even constantly feeling blah. Glad you found your happy again! Here’s hoping we all have mostly good, happy and wonderful! 💗
