@Cass Cass I am definitely going to do things differently this time! In Zimbabwe it wasn’t a business for me. It was more about just helping people, I had no idea that it would blow up the way it did. Even when companies would reach out to me they would ask me questions I had no idea about. So I definitely want to be prepared next time and be serious about it here in Tanzania and east Africa but I definitely gotta get the right team and right things in place!

@@JewelsOnTheRun I see it and you will learn good things here in East Africa!!!am a Tanzanian and I would recommend to continue push and also to learn more about East Africa and there are alot of opportunities untouched here!!! hopeful you will start traveling to Kenya and trust me when you start traveling to Kenya you will learn alot more ...I lived for a couple of months approximately a year and I think you will gain some experience there!!!trust me this channel has a promising future in Tanzania in tourism and investment!!!!

Ha! when no one can give you that boost of confidence, and when you have been told before such encounters (someone telling what you can't do) that you are not smart, it can change the trajectory of your life, that happened to me, I was very excellent in mock, trials ..so I went to he counselor and she said oh no, you have a child you want to get something will pay the bills, go to beautician schools, obviously my esteem was at a low level prior to her, I went to beauty school. and never went to law school... belief in yourself no matter what!!! my son is in law school now, ironically

From my 6 years personal experience shipping to Tanzania, it is not worth shipping a container. The cost of shipping, the fees and bribes as well as things may get stolen, broken in ....

Hello sister from another womb. I suggest you stay in Tanzania. This is much better than Zimbabwe. If you think of quiting TZ, go to Rwanda or Botswana. I am a Mozambican in Mozambique🇲🇿 and I have never been outside the country. I am working for a Game Reserve that is also responsible for the protection of wildlife and fight against poaching. I know Kruger National Park, but I have never been there before. Could you come to enjoy Mozambique's enviroment for some times?

I am so sorry about the things you have been through but I am sure these things made you strong and smart person. Amazing story! But why do school advisers do that? Mine did the same, but i proved myself right and her wrong. She advised me to get an education below a nurse as most foreigners do in the Scandinavia. I knew I could do better and been a social worker for some time.

What is picky picky please ? I've been to Tanzania 5 times, know some language but didn't hear this one . I'm a Caucasian middle age single woman . I have a small school in Tanga that is on the premises of the regular school. Through my travel I am considering moving to Tanzania. I consider Njiro/ Arusha or Zanzibar. What does it take to open a bank account as a foreigner? How much time did it take you to get an extended stay before you got married? Thank you 🙏! Asante sana . Mungu Akubariki.

It’s the bike transportation. Some people call it something different boda boda. You need residency to open a bank account. And a few months

I think it's better to keep your US bank accounts, because there are services that u won't be able to access in Tz, services like Cashapp do not work here. With PayPal for example, u can withdraw but not deposit, so someone in US can't send u money with Paypal. Since when u here u would want some $ flows, whether u do online business or anything, keeping your American accounts is a wise decision.

PayPal works in Tanzania. I only have my business account left and I haven’t had any issues. I’ve transitioned my life over here so it doesn’t make sense for me to have accounts there that I’m paying for plus accounts here. Maybe if I was rich haha but I’m just a regular girl. It works for me personally but everybody situation is different

Honestly of course it’s scary but everybody was so helpful it made it so easy. And it helped that I traveled with my daughter to other African countries before so I had a lot of experience.
