One feature of this game that I like is the little preview image of the robot master level in the stage select. It's really cool to see what the stage would look like from outside.

Ballade is one of my favorite characters in the whole classic series. A character with a neat design and a pretty simple yet effective arc. Being a robot designed to destroy Megaman, who ultimately sacrifices himself to save him. Sometimes I feel like Bass was created to be a replacement for Ballade 😅

Ballade is my favourite of all the Robot Masters (except Proto Man, but he's my favourite fictional character ever, so he gets a free pass) his tragic tale from powerful ignorant asshat, being forced to enter a stronger form to match the one he deems inferior to ultimately seeing the error of his ways and sacrificing himself for a greater cause, plus his theme song in Mega Man 10, Farewell to Ballade, is such a tragic sounding song. And I guess he's now a Gigachad. neat Also the Wily Iron Robo Golem goes way harder than it needs to and is epic and I can't wait for Mega Man V to be covered.

So I do this every once in a while but I just wanted to say thank you and say what a positive impact your videos have had on my life. I have been going through a difficult time for the past 6 months. I lost my job and have been struggling to get a new one and have been worried about my family and how I am going to pay for things and such. I have had night terrors about both working a job I do not like and not working at all and everyone like not getting along or getting kicked out and being homeless. It was all I could think about for a while and all I could really do between filling out applications and trying to get into work programs is like try to find something new on youtube to watch and concentrate on. I only discovered them a little over a month ago but your videos and in particular this one have been able to help me switch my brain off and like laughing. Particularly love the "P" running gag in this one (especially Dr. Light's frantic rant at the beginning) and the follow up on the Gigachad plotline (and the sunglasses). It is like not necessarily high humor but you know that is really not what I need/still need. I am doing better now (got a job lined up that I start at, have some training for IT and have a plan to use one to help start the other) but you know still worried something might go wrong before things get started or like anxiety about work and stuff. Currently my go to when I am trying to relax or especially sleep is turn on this weird ass loop of your videos so I can listen to various parts of the plots and your jokes while I try to sleep (and don't get woken up by the YT algorithm being weird and putting on something that will cause me to panic awake). I know like a lot of people don't like hearing "hey yeah I fall asleep to them" but it really is like I need something I enjoy and listen to to fall asleep to as opposed to like something that I just tune out. And I often check out this one, your other gameboy ones or anything from the "Bass saga" (8 is particularly funny I love EVERYTHING you did with King) and I am eagerly hoping that you will add another one of these videos. Like thank you for like helping me get through this really trying time in my life and being like so funny and telling such a good plot line (seriously it is AMAZING to me) and I really hope you do more in the future. Because yeah, you are making a difference here, if that matters to you.

6:42 I'm conflicted about this because.. It feels very rewarding to beat hard levels after being forced to get good at them, making the experience on failed attempts in itself part of the progress the player is making. Meanwhile P Chips and Screws make the progression more literal and resource based rather than experience based. I think I prefer saying "At least now I know not to make that mistake again" rather than "At least I got some P so I can return with more E"

I won’t lie. The Wily Battlestation music in MMIV is my favorite Wily Stage song that isn’t the one from MM2. Thank you for covering this game.
