This one was really hard to do. Not only is Flynn and Jack a pain to mask, but I did not realise that I had created so much material for my way too short song; 8+minutes of footage!! I had to cut a lot and sometimes the pacing is still a little rushed, but I managed to make the song 6+minutes, making this my longest crossover video ever.

PLOT SUMMARY:
An adventurer named Flynn stumbles upon the frozen bodies of the land's prince and princess and to his chock, the latter is still alive. The princess later wakes up from her nightmares in the strangers warm cottage where he confronts her about her situation. She contemplates her fate; she is the only one left of the royal family and she has no right to leave her responsibilities behind anymore. With the help of Flynn, the princess returns with a facade of confidence, reminding people that she is their ruler and there is nobody who can stop her from taking the throne.
Elsa becomes the land´s queen, now convinced that she has payed for her sin. There is a celebration and the adventurer whom saved Elsa is present. After an attempt to get the queen to enjoy her own party, pictures from past events flash in front of her. In disbelief the queen tries to escape the haunting memories, only to encounter more reminders of her dark past no matter where she goes. Time passes and the sudden winter still lingers. But the man, whom is no longer a stranger has started to fall in love with the queen and still tries his best to help her work past her guilt and fear though it all seems to be in wain.
One day the queen is asked to come to the balcony, where she is surprised by a lantern show arranged by Flynn. During this wonderful performance she manages to forget her sorrows and simply enjoy herself. Until Flynn tries to hold her hand. Elsa begs him to understand that she can't be with him, saying that she is dangerous, that she was the one who killed her brother and does not deserve happiness. Flynn does not care, asking her to trust herself. In a moment of paranoia, Elsa accidentally freezes Flynn's hand and the realization that she has hurt somebody else that she cares for makes her fall into a complete mental breakdown.
She isolates herself in her room, where her internal chaos manifests around her like it did in her ice castle weeks before. Then the Jack of her mind reappears, saying that she deserves all the agony that she is going through. Knowing fully well that he is only a figment of her imagination, she attacks, but ends up shooting a mirror so that the icy blast hits her head. Painful memories once again fill her mind and she starts to give up the fight against the constant pain.
But Elsa hurting herself triggers something. Something in her dead brother's frozen body. And then the real Jack reappears as an angel by Elsa's side, calling out her name. Their tender reunion is interrupted by reality, when Flynn finds Elsa. She looks to Jack for guidance, whom in turn encourages her to go to him. Elsa is afraid that she will hurt him even more, but Jack assures her that she wont. And she doesn't.
The next day Elsa unfreezes her kingdom, showing that she is at peace with herself and her past. She thanks her brother for everything, knowing that he will watch over her the rest of her life, and then shares a kiss with Flynn, the other man whom never gave up on her.

I remember when I first found this video back in middle school and I was so hyped and amazed by this editing quality. I really loved watching this video back then, I liked the story, the music, everything. I come back to it years later, and I realise just how much my life has changed ever since I've seen it the first time. And just how relatable this is. I've also lost many people present in my life, one of them being a parental figure who raised me alongside my mother. And I can fully empathise with this depiction of Elsa's grief and ptsd. Sometimes, the guilt is so strong, that the very memory of that person will often appear stained in your head and dreams. Even if they did nothing other than love you unconditionally, you can't help but have this subconscious tainted alter image of them hating you, maybe even them wanting to hurt you, to the point where you can get scared, because you believe you deserve to be hurt, and you ultimately hate yourself. You may hear (or see), things that aren't there, and have recurring nightmares. You may associate other people with them, trying to fill a void, and get reminded by them and the past constantly from the smallest things, no longer living in the present. Some things are hard to process, but I love how beautifully you depicted everything here. Your channel truly is art.

*AHOOOOY!!! READ MEEEE!!! XD* I have now added a plot summary to the description, for those who are interested! The creators notes were also going to be in the description, but it got too long so I'll upload it here below instead! Click on "READ MORE" just down below! ;D *CREATOR'S NOTES ON THE STORY:* - Remember in the beginning when Flynn climbed the ice castle? Do you also remember that Jack never closed the door when he came there in part 1? Stupid Flynn! XD - I have no idea how Flynn always got into the castle all the time. I guess that he climbed up through windows. - What did Jack whisper to Elsa in the ball scene? = "I will never forgive you..." - When Flynn comes into Elsa's room at the end... My head canon says that he can't see Jack. There are no clues in the video itself if he can see/hear him or not, but in my head he can't. Sooo, there he is, with a frozen hand, looking at this girl talking to thin air, and STILL takes her hand?!! Either he is super dedicated to his lady, or he is as insane as she. -Yes, Jack is still dead. No, his body does not lay on the melted mountain side, rotting away. The mountain is snow covered all year around, which means that Jack is still frozen solid. I imagine that the ice castle become his tomb and that Elsa goes there sometimes to put frozen flowers beside his feet. Later, when several years have passed, the room will be filled with frozen flowers, making it a eternal garden. - The grass under Elsa, the frost melting away in the gallery, the fact that there was no frost on the letter even though she touched it with her bare hand = Foreshadowing and indications to that Elsa was happy around Flynn and that happiness was the cure. When she could forgive herself for what she had done and let go of the guilt and fear that she might not be able to control her feelings, then she could melt the ice. - Why is Jack wearing "poor people clothes"? = I imagine him being quite a reckless prince, running around in clothes that he likes instead of what is expected of him to wear. But as a child and in all royal paintings and in the flash forward of him as a king (see part 1) he is wearing what he should be wearing. - And he is running around with a staff, which isn't very princely. Why? It was actually gift from his sister (as seen in part 2). He was superior at controlling wind (why he can fly and not she), but he struggled with ice, something that his sister had mastered. To support him, she gave him the staff (which is really just a branch from a random tree) and told him that it would help him concentrate his powers and it really gave him the self-esteem boost he needed. NOTE: Every time we see Jack using ice magic, Elsa shows of her powers, like the cooky big sis that she is. ;) - Warning: Sad shit - Considering that all Elsa needed to melt Flynn's hand was for her to believe in herself and just relax indicates that she COULD have saved her brother if she had pulled herself together and acted fast. I would not want to be in the room when she figures this out... ............................................................................................. And further more: I will NOT make this into a trilogy so there is no point in begging for a part 3. I believe that this story ended perfectly here, but I can promise that I will use the characters again in new projects. For example, I have plans for Jack Frost in the future and it will be something that was NEVER been done before. ;)

I really love this fanfiction! It's really good! The only thing I'm confused about is: If Jack does say, "I'll never forgive you", then why does he come to Elsa's room to talk to (or support) her at 5:30 (length in the vid, not the time)? Also, what was it that Jack was saying in the mirror of her room?

The editing in this was even better than the first part of this story! What a wrap up this was, the overwhelming emotions are amazing! The song was perfect choice to go along with a story like this. Her guilt over killing Jack without words was astounding, her and Flynn had such a sweet romance and Else freezing Flynn’s arm was a nice touch~

This is honestly the best video you've made, in my opinion. It was all so realistic and I'm 500% convinced that Flynn and Elsa were in a movie together, along with Jack. This was so beautifully done and the story-telling was just so clear and easy to follow. In my opinion, you're one of the best editors I've seen here on RU-vid. It takes someone with a lot of patience and time to work on something like this, and I completely admire you for doing so. I would never be able to do something this beautiful because I *don't* have the patience for it. But you do, and you're able to make something beautiful because of it. With each video you just get better and better, and I can't wait to see more. And to those people who hate on your video just because it isn't all about Jelsa: *piss off*. There are PLENTY of amazing Jelsa videos out there. DFPUR makes some fucking amazing ones if you're that much of a die-hard. For you to comment on someone's video and saying you hate it just because it doesn't go your way, is *rude* and *disrespectful to the editor*. Editors put a lot of time and effort into making these, and for us to then me judged and complained to on how *THEIR* video should be made.... You should feel ashamed of yourself. Editors don't *have* to make videos for us. They do it because it's something they love and makes them happy. And if you push someone too far, one day they will throw in the towel and then you won't have a video to watch at all. out of all the videos I've watched on your channel so far, this one made me cry the most. I don't know why. Commenting on this again, cause I'm a nerd, but also because this is my all-time favorite crossover vid (forever and always). I would just like to applaud you for all the amazing effort you clearly put into this video. From effects like Flynn climbing Elsa's ice tower, including the cracks made from his arrows puncturing it, to the multiple hand touching/holding scenes. Your manips are to die for and how you use them is equally impressive. An example: I believe a couple of Elsa's gestures while talking to Flynn inside...his house, I think? Anyways, I think I noticed a couple are actually full body view masks, but you only used her from the waist up, to look as though she's sitting there. This really shouldn't thrill me, but it does, cause you don't see that a lot. Adding to that, I really love when you zoom in on Elsa's hands resting on the balcony, right before Flynn decides to take her hand. I know it's a silly part to like, but I do! Like when Elsa is chatting with Flynn in the room with the portraits, and she kinda drifts her attention to the picture behind him of Jack... *Mind boggles* Apart from the editing, the storyline is beautiful, as well. I just adore Elsa and Jack as siblings (they share the same powers; it just makes more sense!). And their reuniting scene is just precious. Also Flynn/Elsa is adorable. :] You're the kind of editor everyone wishes they could be. None of us will probably make it, but your videos give us the inspiration to try, anyway. :P I don't know if you are or plan to become some sort of editor in the near future, but I think it's pretty obvious you'd be amazing at it! Anyways, sorry for the lengthy comment. But every time I come across this video, I can't help but marvel at its beauty, and I just thought you deserved more praise for it. :3 PS: I also love the manip (I think at 3:38? I'm on my phone, so I can't go back and check) where Elsa runs out of the room while Flynn is still talking and then he just kinda drifts off; cause we know what he's really doing there in movie, but you make it different! You make it your own, and you do that a lot in the video, and I love it! PPS: That was also my sister's favorite part and she doesn't even really like/understand crossovers, so! ;D

I'm glad you have Jelsa has siblings instead of a couple. ( Truthfully, I don't necessarily think Elsa deserves Jack, but that's just my opinion ). Jack was already portrayed in his own movie to be romantically involved with Tooth and no matter how much people claim she was like a 'mother'... Yeah, you don't stare at a mother and you don't stare at a son the way they looked at each other. Heh. RAINBOW SNOWCONE FOR LIFE.

@constellations of neverland, Tooth developed way more from 'fangirling'. If that's all you saw, then that's pretty sad. She developed into actually seeing Jack as more than a pair of teeth and the love shared between them brew(plus the fact they were together in the books). She wasn't just mocking teenage girls, she grew and became so much more. THAT'S development, something Elsa doesn't have.

+Ryann Varietie They were most definitely NOT together in the book. He loved Katherine. And to say they developed way more in the movie is not really true either. I do sense a little love brewing, but nothing that screamed "we are in love!"

OH MY GOD. That was probably one of the best, heck, probably the best video you have ever done! How Flynn finds Elsa right after Jack's death, and how she's so tense around him because of what happened to Jack. Then she sees his ghost, accidentally shoots Flynn, goes crazy in her room after seeing Jack's ghost all over the place, how then Jack supports her into healing Flynn. UH AMAZING!!!! STUNNING!!! When you first said Jack was a part of this story too, I didn't understand it because Jack was dead. Now I understand it! And I like how all of Elsa's memories are a nice blue shading, something different for once besides black & white. YOU ARE AMAZING, AND THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING!!!! Uh just...just incredible. Really incredible.

OMG, I just watched this last night(plus the first part, obviously!) and I loved it! Even though I'm a jelsa shipper and i had never thought of the idea of them being siblings, i just fell in love with it after watching this,the fact that it is such a risky (but awesome) turn that i'd never thought about and your work, omg its so... i dont even have the words to express all the feels i got, it is just awesome! I've been also watching some of your other videos and i have to say, im really in love with your work, especially with the "To Belong" series!

I love the music at the beginning. Flynn saw Elsa was still alive. She wakes in his cottage. “Have to stand up to be stronger.” She knows she has to go back to Arendelle. She stands up to the Duke, fiercely confident & strong. Elsa knows her rightful place as Queen & takes the throne. Flynn presents a lantern show. “Have no strength to go on.” Elsa looks up to see Jack, a glowing angel, at her side. Flynn finds her, & she looks to Jack for guidance, who encourages her, promising she won’t hurt him. Elsa slowly reaches out, & Flynn takes her hand. She looks up, grateful she didn’t hurt him again.

You my lady are my favorite crossover video artist! I don't subscribe to many people but you definitely caught my attention. I got my degree in Media Arts and Animation but holy crap is my stuff not on your level yet. I LOVED Illuminated. I ship JaAM so hard now because of it. This video series is definitely my next favorite. The storytelling was so phenomenal that I ship Felsa now. The way you used Flyn here was breathtaking really. He was so supportive, sweet and patient. He was used in a way that I'm not use to seeing. He wasn't a theif, he wasn't some goofball or bad boy, he was a gentleman explorer who happened to stumble upon something tragic. I really look forward to all of your future projects. Maybe someday there will be more room for JaAM and Felsa videos. Lol! Btw: I just watched that Dmitri and Eric video. I fucking loved the story. It was the cutest shit. Same thing with the Jim and Anastasia video. Can I just say, I love you? I love you. You're welcome.

I am just absolutely floored at how much work you put into this video! I actually went and looked at how you created the kiss between Flynn and Elsa, too, oh my goodness. I just want to punch every prepubescent brat that is saying mean things about your story. Believe me, I know I think or two about AUs-- my webcomic always goes under fire for it, so I know how cruddy it feels when someone doesn't appreciate your hard work. I commend you greatly. Your storytelling is really wonderful... the part where Flynn surprises Elsa with the lanterns and he tries to hold her hand gave me goosebumps. Well done, don't mind the haters!
