I am pretty sure Kayla said as long as it wasn't touching her walls it was fine. I have seen her touring these shells and several people had an external building and she didn't yell at them. lol Very cute house!

You're the queen of modern builds! The outdoors look heavenly and that green door kinda works, def smth different. Though I would suggest that kitchen cabinets look out of date (bc they're too short) and heavy specifically near the window and above the fridge. I think just putting shelves is giving more light, fresh, and current look but overall the teal kitchen goes so well with the beachy theme and your design choices are great

Deli what are your tips for when you’re building??? You always just seem to make every build look so architecturally correct (if that makes sense?) and serene? And don’t get me started on how you never fail to make it so that it really fits in into the vibe of the world/lot.😭❤

This is very random, but I appreciate how many galley kitchens you build, because that's the type of kitchen I have, and I've always felt it was a little weird because my parents always had a big open kitchen. But yours always looks so nice it makes me appreciate my kitchen more :)

I can not even imagine or fathom it being summer time at Christmas. It’s just mind boggling to me. Cause every song or movie I was that’s Christmas involves snow and it being cold. It’s just crazy to me 😂

Do you have a floor plan in mind or just play it by ear? I usually just build some outside walls and then change the walls as I make a floor plan inside.

Watching this on the last nice autumn day, it’s unseasonably warm today, 18C, before snow coming in a few days. Loving the summery feeling to this house. And the walls around the outdoor patio are fine, as they aren’t touching the shell. The sage kitchen reminds me of Simsie’s real life kitchen. 😂

The differences in seasons between our two continents is crazy to me. I'm prepping my little patio garden for winter and last minute ordering garlic bulbs for over-winter planting (they take like 7 months to grow, or more). I love the difference in perspectives! Deli, you should try building a house with your eyes closed. Lol have James direct you as you go and you cannot erase anything. I did this and it was a MESS 🤣 I like the final look of the house, I like your modern styles. (Had to skip and watch the rest, gotta go to work) 😝

we did sort of similar things for this shell. i did mine in oasis springs and used a lot of the desert luxe kit as well, i also used those get famous wood things on the outside of the house, yours is much better though lol

It still kinda blows my mind that the weather in the US and Australia is flip flopped. It's gotten so cold here in Missouri this past week. Drastic change from the upper 70's weather we had the previous week.

We NEED half tile walls! Sometimes I just want to make a little entry alcove and a whole tile wall is too deep to add a console table in and give the look I'm after. I know I can add "fillers" into the space then the table infront but a half tile wall would be perfect.

As a long time viewer of shell challenge videos, especially Kayla’s, Can confirm, additional structures on the lot using walls are perfectly fine and within the rules as long as the walls are NOT connected and NOT touching the shell. Lots of people do detached garages, sheds, pool houses, barns, etc. your privacy wall is totally fine. The idea is you can’t alter the shell - not that you can’t have other structures on the lot.

Maybe you could do a makeover of the base game house Vista Quarry, because I would like to see what you do with it. I'm currently trying to give it makeover with a second story, but I'm a little stuck. I do have something I want to try, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Since there is a hashtag called fixmelilsimsie, maybe you could have one called renomedeli. When someone is stuck on a makeover they are doing and need help, or they have a house that just needs the Deli touch they could use that hashtag. They could in the description, if they wanted to, list the packs and kits they have or don't have and you could just work with what they have. For example, I would probably say I don't have anything after Laundry Day and between Dine Out and Laundry Day I don't have Spooky Day, Fitness Stuff, Luxury Party, Vampires, and Cats and Dogs. Kits I do have Moonlight Chic Kit, Industrial Loft Kit, Desert Luxe, Everyday Clutter (this one not at the time of this post). If they forget to list the packs and kits or choose not to then every pack and kit is usable.

I never see you do it so something I would like to see you try is build a family house meant for a couple,4 teens and a toddler/nursery as well. I like to make big families and I love your builds but they are so rarely ever good for big families. i normally hate modern but a lot of your modern builds i actually find quite pretty
