I had a syrian hamster as a kid. I admit his cage was too small and he escaped often, but he literally climbed up the stairs and scratched at my bedroom door in the middle of the night. The scratching freaked me out but when I opened the door, he was standing on his hind legs looking at me.🥺

If you ever find that there’s stuff you don’t use after a long period of time you should donate it to a local shelter to help the hamsters get some more enrichment while they wait for the forever home if you’re able to! 💕 always love your videos and you can see how much you love your hamsters, I can’t wait to get more stuff for mine 🐹

It's a good idea to clean things out especially when there are food items in there that were forgotten about. Great video on keeping things clean and tidy. P.S. I like that hand held vacuum you are using to clean small spaces. I might have to look for one of those.

Ive been browsing through thousands of hamster RU-vidrs videos and thousands of blogs and hamster care/ info websites and and honestly i feel so much time was wasted reading and watching all of them because your videos seriously provide everything anyone could possibly need to know about hamster care and information you should know when owning a hamster. Ive found your RU-vid Hamster videos are by far the best! You should have a PHD in Hamster...lol. You really seem to have the most experience with the best advice tips tricks and knowledge. I want to thank you, (my Hamster wants to thank you), soooo much, we are sooo greatful to of found your channel and so happy that you put so much care and effort into making all your videos! Every video you post are so high quality. Being that your specialty area is in hamsters and theyre care, youve definitely become pretty awesome in RU-vid video production. Your audio is always clear dialog and your music background is never too loud or drains out what your saying. I can acually hear everything your saying and the video shooting angles you do for the videos always show clearly what your doing and not have odd angles where you cant even see half of what your trying to show. On top of that, you post so often and have so many videos its unbelievable you even have any time for a life outside of Hamsters. Like when do you even have the time to get any of the things your adding to your hamsters habitats and homes,lol? I bet you have little time for yourself or friends and family time and wonder if you ever need a Hamster sitter so you can go on a vacation and have a break from your Hamster world? Though its obvious this is something that you enjoy and like doing a lot and probably gives you peace and sanity. But hey just saying if you ever want a break, ide be more than happy to Hamster sit for ya,lol. Like you must spend hundreds of hours editing and putting all these videos together and posting for us all to watch. Have had an ikea bag overflowing with hamster stuff and I’d stuff it under my desk and try to balance everything so it wouldn’t fall over 😂 Even after my hamster passed, I kept a long glass jar from ikea of sprays. It looks so pretty and makes for a nice decoration

I have a hamster rescue in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I recently took in a mother hamster with seven pups, that were three weeks old. I separated them all and within another week she gave birth to 8 more pups. I currently have 11 left, adopting them all out to people with bin cages, and making them all bin cages. But they are all separated now. I may need to stop rescuing after this… It has been so stressful. A hamster organization video is just what I needed!

Hi Victoria! My hammy is over 2 and 1/2 years old now and we went for a vet check up today since we noticed a few things. I was just wondering what you have noticed in elderly hamsters? As in what things have changed about them. My hamster Wasabi just goes to sleep anywhere now and gets crusty eyes when he wakes up. I've been cleaning his eyes with a warm, wet cloth but it just comes back every time. Also, a few times his head has been tilted as he walks along after I put him down for example. I've tried to do some research on that but it just says about "circling" in hamsters and I just don't think that's that case. The vet said that it is most likely to do with the balance organs in his inner ear and there isn't really anything we can do about it. The last thing is that he'll just be sitting in his enclosure and randomly clicking his teeth for ages; I've searched about clicking and sometimes it says their happy and sometimes irritated so I'm not fully sure but it didn't sound very happy. I thought that he just made those irritated clicking noises when he had had enough and wanted to be put down but I wasn't touching him or anything when he was clicking in his cage. So yeah. I was just wondering if you had experienced any of these things and if you could help me out at all. Although, I feel most of these things are because he's just very old lol. Thanks! ❤️😊 Edit: Hey. Wasabi has gone to sleep now. He went in my arms being gently stroked and he knew he was so so loved and had the best life he could possible have. I'm sobbing but I'm glad he is resting and at peace now. I'll miss him so much. ❤️

I hate to admit this…😂. I started researching hamster care several years ago and found you. I loved your suggestions and ideas which has resulted in 3 times more stuff than what you just cleaned out. 🤣. I have 4 tubs of stuff in the attic and a whole dresser full. I have 4 hamsters at the time with all large enclosures. You have to have a variety of things because different hamsters prefer different layouts, houses, sand, substrate etc.. I wish all my hamster stuff fit in one closet.😆
