The prob I have with brawls that you either have those that sit at the back and dont want to brawl or you get closer and then the ram, not one wants to actually brawl
Another fun thing about sub homing torps ive pinged twice and was able to be about 30-35 degrees off target and they swing that hard at 80-90 kts 😮 few times around islands ☠️

Can't wait until I get my first tier 10 so I can join in the fun. Randoms has been so rough lately. I disagree that WoWs caters to the casual player. I think it caters to the braindead player with big pockets. I will not spend a dime on this game and am left to grind tech tree lines till the end of time. I still haven't gotten enough coal to buy my first coal ship...probably still a month or so away form that.
Funny enough you’ll probably be way better than those who just buy their way into high tier, tbh its the MM that makes randoms bad, WG says there isn’t SBMM but that is a major cap imo

Why are they pushing when they have cap speeding full broadside in front of GK? :DDDD Yeah in that situation Schlieffen is bad...but thats not bad ship but shit player. Otherwise Schlieffen is much more fun than GK. GK is old fat brick without overmatch that burns nicely. Preussen is much better ship.
Re the Boomer conversation at 28:00: I would qualify as a "Boomer" since I was born before the moon landing. As such I want a competitive gaming experience. I do not blow my load on $125 ships. My most expensive premium is a Massa that I got half price two years ago. I do drop $4 every now and then on a skill redistribute. And I hoard coal like a Welsh miner. I play BBs because I LIKE TO POOSH. But WeeGee in their infinite wisdom is more interested hawking the new trick-pony hotness and actively power creeping last month's meta. I want to be competitive. However, aside form being a scrub, and until WeeGee rewards competitive play, I will continue to log in to 1 v 23 matches and let the salt flow like ocean spray on my rotated sinking hull. Side note: PQ has gotten me interested in the Ranked mode. And so far it is a more rewarding experience. Thank you, PQ.
I probably qualify as one of those "old" guys. It's not about the money. I stopped dropping money on this game with the cv re-work. I play a lot less after the addition of subs. The game is less enjoyable. Tanks is a perfect example of how the game begins to cater to the players that play for hours each day. People who enjoy the game but can't commit to that kind of time get left behind and playing the game becomes......less enjoyable. I admit it's the dilemma between keeping the game fun and enjoyable for the casual player, yet more interesting and challenging to the hard core dedicated player. WOT was great.......8 years ago. I open that game no more than 4 or 5 times a YEAR now.
The whole game 6 section and discussion made me just uninstall this game after listening to it lmao. I don't know how you guys can talk like that about the game from experience and still want to play it
RE the pushing comments... I feel that it is an issue in some random battles. Too many players are afraid to push and will indefinitely sit outside of uncapped points. They then end up in crossfire from other points and by then, it's too late to move up. Nothing wrong with not pushing at the beginning of the match, but at some point, you have to move up. Not sure if it's a situational awareness issue or folks just being scared they'll get blasted.
I'm 52 yrs. old and have been playing wargaming for 11 yrs. Now and I used to play tanks competitively. I have 3 tanks accounts 2 on NA and 1 on EU, then I have warships with 3 accounts now i have spent between 40000$ to 50000$ in this time. Mostly on tanks with my accounts and my son's account when he played. Over the yrs. I can afford to spend regularly and I like to collect tanks and play the newest and best credit earners. I have friends who have spent even more than me between tanks and warships. I don't spend anything now because warships have become so passive and full of retards that are fresh off the special bus. As for tanks they cheat so much, I really don't play it much anymore.

In addition to being able to choose ship mods prior to each game I would love to be able to pick captain skills individually on a cost/skill pt basis instead of all or nothing.
In Tanks i think you can change up things prior to the match starting. You can hot swtich attachments prior to the countdown. That would be legit if they could do the same here

Oh look the fist (and logical) form for any newcomer to enter the gane and get acquainted is usually through random battles. He's the first dude to walk into the enemy and get splattered. Besides that, he's ridiculed (and worse) with loving comments from his teammates. Should I go on? Yep, you two guys have got the main idea right but the meta and the saltiness that usually comes from many people who are just as if not more noobs at times than the newcomer, withdraw his logical and almost instinctive initial playing style of one from confrontation to one of speculation. I would pay good money to see people like you walk newcomers into a division to fight against other newcomer divisions without all the saltiness and hate. An interesting idea to pick up on....would'nt you say?? My 2 cents.... Fun vid.
They did have a few streams where they got new people into the game since this upload. And immediately told them to camp at the rear line and to never push.
Why don’t you fire full salvos? Is dispersion rng better since it’s different for every shot instead of it being applied to the full salvo? Or am I just a bad shot?

GK is very good on Brawls with a LegMod but as far as other capable of German BBs like Preussen and Schlieffen are both good as usual with Schlieffen has torps as a last resort strategy.
BFK is right and wrong. He is right how WG treats us. He's wrong that Boomers don't care about competitive. I created a Hurricane clan specifically for Competitive and I'm over 60.
I like the discussion on being able to switch equipment at the beginning of the game. I would say that WG (the most disgusting immoral dev on the planet) however probably wont care to implement this.
IMHO Preussen feels kind of superior to GK for me, tried it several times and i got consistent 3 kills even when the enemy has 3 GKs. the gun hits so much harder and the firing angle is just amazing. Idk maybe it's just for me but I rarely got clapped for more than 10k from a GK unless i'm sitting broadside 4km away.
Quick tip here, dont fire sequentially. Tests haven shown (on PC AND Console) that firing all guns at once has actually higher accuracy, meaning better sigma, lower dispersion. You can test that yourself in the training room if you dont believe it. Also a GK player whining about CVs is like a Helicopter complaing about FLAK. CVs are meant to be a counter to ships that would otherwise be to strong, GKs is absolute trash against airplanes, it is its one big weakness, but that is intentional (Schliefen and GK are the ships I farm for damage first whenever I can, bc u barely lose planes). Without CVs the meta would be even more smoke firing, island camping and certain BBs and DDs would super dominate every game (as they have before). But CVs have introduced counter play to all of that by punishing stationary ships (including ships in smoke, even more so if we get minefields), spotting DDs, punishing weak AA ships that go solo and stopping Schliefens from bum rushing by laying a nice torpedo carpet. If you think the game would be better without CVs you do not understand the balancing and how many ships would simply become super trash (any cruiser that doesnt have smoke but good AA) and others would become very overpowered (any DD without AA like Shima, any BB with weak AA like all germans). Also most players who complain about CVs have simply not played them enough... as a CV player I think certain ships are ridiculously overpowered when it comes to AA (and im NOT talking about AA cruisers). Playing CV on T8 or T10 is not easy at all and it shows esspecially in ranked. I agree on Subs tho, i tried subs, i played them for a while and they were fun, but as a sub player I now actually think they are not good for the game and stopped playing them (played US and german to t10), they are also very boring after a few games imo. Esspecially in ranked I think subs are just stupid. Its funny tho, from a sub players perspective I actually think subs are underpowered and underperforming (which is also true if you go by stats, because all subs have horrible winrates and stats) because every ship now has Depth charges and its kinda stupid how many bombs can be dropped on you and there is no counter play since they also hit you if you are not submerged (which doesnt make a lot of sense at all...) and some depth charges still hit you at 1400m distance............... The majority of the playerbase seems to think that subs are overpowered tho. So its a lose lose situation really, subs dont feel strong and are boring to play, while playing against them is unfun and feels unfair. I also do not think they are a ship we need, bc everything a sub can do a CV already does. I really hope they remove them from ranked :(

The argument is not that cvs or subs are overpowered, its they detract from the enjoyability of the game. In the same way a colbert can hit you 1000 times and do not damage and set no fires, doesnt mean it isnt making the game any less fun. Its like a detonation except at least they have counterplay in detonation flags. Subs are easy to kill sure, but thats only if they give you the opportunity to kill them whereas often they sit outside of asw range and just ping and the only thing you can do is abandon the flank and there is no skill to hitting torpedoes in a submarine which means there is no skill in avoiding torpedoes bow in, because you cant. Carriers do little to no damage sure, but they will ruin a destroyers game when they get spotted as the cv is going to strike another ship. At least with radar you can avoid the radar ships and spot the radar ships for the teammates to kill as radar ships have to be close to a cap to be effective, while a CV is immune and there is no way to affect its capabilities in a game unlike any other ship (except subs) where you can zone them out or put an island between yourself and them. So if you think Carriers and Subs are balanced, well ive got a bridge to sell you. Also that test about sequential fire vs salvo fire is like 5 years old and the accuracy has been screwed with multiple times since then, there is no statistical difference between sequential and salvo fire anymore and sequential fire allows you to cover a larger area for targets that are bow in and accelerating/reversing.
