I Heard the Bells On Christmas Day Choir - Slavic Chorale 

I don't know if you guys will see this but AMAZING!! I go to High school and the choir teacher asked me to play drums to this song and when I heard my heart broke and I coulden't help but shed some tears. Thanks for doing this. God Bless you all!

With all due credit to the CASTING CROWNS for their fantastic arrangement, the Slavic Chorale's version is the definitive one for me, and I'm sure many others. It's the voice of angels... and if HOLLYWOOD was to do another American Civil War movie or any war movie, let alone a biopic of author Henry Wadsworth Longfellow... this is the exact recording I would use in the final scene. It has genuine feeling and humanity in it to the highest degree. Unfortunately, there has never been a single song, a poem, a hymn or a prayer that has brought about an end to war and suffering... as those responsible for such evil have no soul.

I have been searching for sometime to find a choir singing this music. I sang it in choir several years ago, Bass, and just loved it in our Christmas Program and you sang it perfectly. It is a very emotional piece of music, especially if you know the story of Longfellow behind it. "There is no peace on earth" seems to still hold true, even more so today. I do have a recording we used to practice this piece on CD and I still will listen to it from time to time. Thank you for this.

This song/poem should resound around the world! Written by America's Poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow during the depth of the American Civil War, December 1863, it remains a tribute to Christ's vision for mankind! Come quickly, Lord, we need you now more than ever! COME QUICKLY!!!

I was in Choir in middle school 3 to 4 years ago (I don’t remember) and we sang this song and I don’t know why I suddenly remember it lol

At Mikado, we played this with little kids... it was kinda like the kids choir mixed in with the adult choir. It was so beautiful.
