Tawana just said on a previous show that she don't take advice from men. But yet she's in groups where women want to understand men. How can you understand men if you don't listen to men? Smdh
She contradicts herself so many times in this. In the beginning, "well I can't speak for all women..." but later on, "well the women that I know and the groups I'M in what we do is...".
You are correct. I totally agree that she is being very strategic in her choice of words. She has stated that she talks in groups with women and because of that I think she is trying to defend a point of view that is toxic. I would bet those groups are not healing or taking accountability but bashing. So she has to defend her followers.
I'm not sure where you saw that, she argued with Anton but that was just a disagreement. She has the ability to say she messed somethings up as she said. No one is flawless. I'm just happy they had the discussion.
Late comment, but I wanted to place it for the record: At the end of this clip Tawana threatens to leave the show and then ultimately does. She leaves because she feels unheard. She epitomizes the problem with our relationships today. Women are in control, and they lead with their emotions first. Their emotions are always more important than anything or anyone else. If others were benefiting from Tawana's presences on the show, who cares, Tawana felt hurt. How many marriages ended, entire homes wrecked, and families destroyed because a woman felt like Tawana?
Courtney is such a women. So much class in her voice and the way she carries herself. She’s feminine but you can tell she’s not to be played with and she don’t have to talk loud to prove a point.
As a black man I almost shed a tear listening to Courtney. She was speaking nothing but facts. If black women can’t see the truth and substance that she brings then y’all are truly lost. She needs a movement. 🙌🏾✊🏾
Very true C. And this is why women like Courtney will have dude's respect and treat her very well all their lives. And chicks like Tawana will get what she is...bull, lies, and a life full of drama.
@C-Note215 the way black women don't hold each other accountable, is the same way "good cops" never hold bad cops accountable. It's disgusting how similar the two groups are in regards to accountability and correction.
The fact that Courtney couldn’t get a response to question #1 regarding ACCOUNTABILITY. Proves the point exactly. Tawana is oblivious to the fact that she is the woman they are talking about.
I'm a Black woman and I got some stuff I'm working through. Black women as a collective we need to get our emotional sh*^ together. Accountability is the word of the day everyday.
Tawana kept interrupting Courtney and saying nothing. We get it,Tawana. You think that if you don’t personally know a particular type of person then that person must not exist.
Women like her will always focus on the smaller percentage if it helps prove their point. She started talking about gay women, women who date outside their race, and anything else other than the factual majority. 🙄
The problem is that most likely, she actually DOES know and talk to these women...she's just too bullheaded to admit it and say that Courtney was RIGHT!
Tawana you got value, you are a great example of what wrong with BW today and I let my son see it in real time of the type of woman to not deal with period.
Well she is getting married so she can't be too bad. You all, average men are looking for 100% submission and you are not going to get it. Period. Mainly because men are not accountable for their actions.
I'm with Courtney.....Thank you for displaying what we as women...want & need...through generations and what we've seen growing up....leading a family....much love....95% do not want to die alone.....I agree to the fullest
Courtney is one in a million for real her composer, and her patience and direct and classy talk and response is deeply refreshing. She is a beautiful soul.
This really pushes home the notion that women will study and follow the strict criteria for years to get a degree but won't take a 5 min. to try and understand the very men they say they want
A lot of generalizing in this topic. And it’s honestly the reason why no one understands Tawana. Some black men and some black woman. Just what I’ve observed and heard while listening. Nobody is wrong here men and woman on both sides feel indifferent about the question. You can’t generalize. That’s what tawana was saying in very beginning of the conversation but they chose to ignore that to prove a point that isn’t true and relevant for all people and relationships. 🤷🏿♂️
@@devohnhenry5828 the topic was BW taking accountability for anything. Tawanda is offended by topic, strategically trying to put responsibility on the man. It's not generalizing that BW are uncompetitive fat and mean
Y’all are not listening to tawana, she literally said there are woman that are trying to become better woman that are listening to men like Kevin or Anton. That we should acknowledge those woman instead of always giving attention to the woman that don’t want to listen to woman. This comment section is very emotional and they don’t pay attention to words only what they want to hear.
🤦🏽♀️Tawana again talks in circles with no resolution..I truly don’t know if she gets it, Courtney made the main point and that’s it, let’s just focus on that sis, how can women learn to pull back the masculine, close the mouth and listen to our black men!
That part! I'm recently engaged to my beautiful Black woman. It can happen for you ladies too but you have to follow our lead and not have a pissing contest with us.
What women learned is they could be married to anyone and they could play the role of that close mouth only get fed by your man if you behave woman but they decided it wasn’t worth the disrespect the mistrust the deceit the lies and start doing it themselves. I believe during that time of hustling like men women forgot how to be feminine and they can use work I also know for a fact men have learned black men in particular have learned that black women would rather buy a dog and die alone than to except that low level treatment other races give to their women we are not the same. I make no argument about being the bread winner loving and supporting my man submitting and cooperating with him but he know just as easy as I got him I will leave him without a doubt
Hmmm, yes from an outsiders POV. Don't get me wrong, I do agree 80% but she "appears" to be one of those same women that "destroyed her own home" by treating her ex-husband with less respect than what was necessary. She did her own video on RU-vid confessing this in her own words so that 20% that I disagree is because if you listen to her at the beginning of the video, she states how she grew up with traditional values and was taught how to respect men, make her partners feel welcome etc. She is now helping other sisters NOT make the same mistake I guess which is the 80% and noble part. Just wanted to balance the view on this.
Having Tawana and Courtney on this show at the same time is PERFECT. It clearly demonstrates two very different types of women. 1. Argumentative Tawana Vs 2. Cooperative Courtney.
She did answer Courtney's question. She said Women are going to coaches, asking questions of married women, and seeking therapy so that they are in a better place to be a wife.
@@RK-un6dr Stop the 🧢 dude. She deflected, ducked & dodged until she had nowhere to run and flipped that trash you just regurgitated as a way out. Lmbo…
@@swati1210 and where was the black marital rate in the 50’s compared to now. Maybe if the black wonton would look at the woman of the 50’s, maybe that 1 or if 4 (25 percent) would change. Le sigh, just maybe 😞
Courtney Michelle is an incredible woman with a lot of knowledge and wisdom. As all of us she is not perfect, but has a willingness to learn and get better. Bless This Beautiful woman.❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥 AYO S/O to this Show!!!! Dope As Hell!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if Tawana will ever just be honest. She's so interested in being right in her view point that she doesn't even see the contradictions in her statements.
Tawana is a person that likes to make everything based on her opinions so she can interject her feelings and feel correct. At the end of her sentence she can say you have the right to your opinion and i have a right to mine. It's a worthless conversation because she believes what she wants to believe in a nutshell. No objective reality or facts. Deflection and fillerbuster.
The fact that she had to ask "What do Black Men have an issue with?" is clear that you're not listening to us at all. When are told constantly "you're too short", "you don't make enough money for me", "you're dusty". Then when asked what are black women actively working on that black men find not cool or unattractive within our relationships, you don't have an answer?!
Yes Tawana... there are 2 type of women on this panel... Courtney and You. You fall into the category of women high value men do not want. RUN MY BROTHA...RUN!!
Tawana realized she lost, and shifted the whole conversation into a pity party about her being appreciated on the platform. She is once again not taking accountability. It's ok to be wrong, Tawana. Just learn from it and grow... BUT if you refuse to even acknowledge that you might be wrong, no one can save you.
The thing about being wrong is that you're opening yourself up for more knowledge and wisdom. So sometimes it's actually better to be wrong, so you can learn.
I'm brand spanking new to this show, and I'm loving it so far. Please keep up the good work on making me laugh. I love how these real issues and topics are being beaten to death with personal emotions instead of awareness, when it can all be so simple!
Tawana’s logic: I will rather listen to a woman about what men want than listening to a man about he wants. Makes perfect sense. The emotional based reality of the modern women.
How are seemingly intelligent women so delusional? I don't get it. She can talk until the cows come home but not a single clear sentence actively answering the question at hand. Just deflection, not me, try the next woman just not me....cheeez!
Tawana folded under pressure. She keep talking about these “groups” of people that she be around but can’t give a straight answer to a general question. I appreciate Courtney on standing 10 toes down and thinking outside herself.
A lot of generalizing in this topic. And it’s honestly the reason why no one understands Tawana. Some black men and some black woman. Just what I’ve observed and heard while listening. @@devohnhenry5828 Generalizing and stereotypes comes from things that are true. Why is it that you don't like Generalizing/stereotypes but let people like tawana be the blatant black loud and sass stereotype. If you don't like Generalizing/stereotypes then change the people not the people looking at them calling it what it is.
@@Frank-tq4en They don’t like when the generalization is true about black women/women in general but they only like generalization when it is false about black men & men in general etc definitely.
Anton Daniels facial expressions the ENTIRE show were soooooooo satisfying!!! #Priceless 😅🤣 Watching Courtney basically tell another black woman that she agrees with what black men are saying, that a vast majority of black women have been very stubborn and or unwilling to cooperate in any compacity with black men when it comes to what these men are asking for from OUR women.. Hats off to you Courtney for the way you represented the black woman as well as having the COURAGE to stand up for the black man the way you did in this podcast 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Previously EVERYONE who has ever tried to publicly speak out on holding black women accountable as it pertains to relationships has been CRUCIFIED in the media and or CANCELED! HERE'S THE DIFFERENCE.. The reason men's plight is beginning to be heard is because of one simple tweak in the delivery.. One of our OWN WOMEN is delivering the message.. 💁🏾♂️ I've been saying this for YEARS!!! Our OWN women are the ONLY ones that can fix the family structure in the black community. Its hard to look yourself in the mirror and accept responsibility of our actions.. Instead of this "Niggas Aint Shit" narative or the "I Don't Need A Man. I'm Independent" energy black men have had to endure.. we want to hear more of our women publicly say they want us with that same energy they publicly slandered us with.. Its wishful thinking 🤷🏾♂️ but.. brotha can dream can't he..? 😅 All jokes aside.. Men have work to do too when it comes to being better men, but we can't do it alone. We NEED our BLACK QUEENS BACK 😥 Nonetheless and with all that being said.. this was a great convo and a great start for us!!! 👊🏽😊💯 As for Tawana.. im just going to pray for her.. 🤦🏾♂️ Although I think she's too far gone.. 😔🙏🏾 #BlackKings #BlackQueens #BlackWomanMagic #MakeBlackCommunitiesGreatAgain2021
Courtney has my heart!!! So awesome. Im very traditional as well. That's why I'm single now. Waaaay too many women are modern. So pressed to tell me the things that have. And I tell them to keep it moving all the time.
@@malimal4972 beautiful and intelligent yes but bro you cant say she learning when she doesn’t take all of this to help struggling women in her social groups. She literally wants to leave because she can’t bring value. But the value she brings isn’t helping said “struggling women in social groups” so if you have been Watching this show u know she still hasn’t improve since she been on this show. She needs to just sit and listen without her own ideologies.
Black men deserve to be heard no matter their viewpoint. I am married to a black man and we have a son. It's important that they voice how they feel. We as black women have to give them the spaces to do that and actually hear them instead of listening to rebuttal and disrespect. Won't get no damn place doing that.
@@dondada6839 protect us from who ?? U cant even protect yourselves... Work on that 1st .. Work on black boys not killing each other .. Work on black boys literacy .. Work on black boys not being pipelined into the prisons ... Dont worry about what black women are doing until you can keep a cops knee off your necks.
We can't fix a community if we can't our families. This statement cuts to the core of what we need to address as black people. As women, we can't even comprehend how important our role is in this process. I fully agree that we as women need to start holding ourselves and our sisters accountable for our words and actions. Time to step up.
She is a necessary component to the show. that being said I think she is pretty in the face personally im not into her. she comes off bias and refuses to allow women accountability.
Courtney, I am so proud of you as a Black woman. You are amazing! We need more young Black women who are honest. Thank you from a 74 year old Black woman.😊
You can sit & watch how she responds without hearing her. . .or you can listen to her responses without actually seeing her -> either way, she’s it. #FemininityIsGorgeous
Men who lead and are blessed with a submissive wife complementary to their dominance; understand the inherent contradiction of a "partner" who 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘴 her man lead...
I'm not gonna lie... everytime I watch this platform I just be praying Tawana would give a straight answer so I can smile for a change....where's KS when you need him...at some point she has to say" I don't know" and just listen to understand
15:21 and at that point tawana still doesn’t want to be accountable smh. I swear she makes me want to throw my phone at the wall when I hear her speak. How in the hell are you arguing against what Courtney is saying, you’re proving her damn point woman. Got dammit!
🎯🎯🎯 she dont want to believe what she is thinking is wrong and hurting women. She dont understand that she is getting attacked for a reason. I don't think she understands what Accountability means.
