The Tuscarora Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica ‘Tuscorera’) features vibrant coral-pink flowers that emit a sweet, fruity scent. Some people compare its fragrance to cotton candy or bubblegum
My phone app "picture this" calls it a Crepe myrtle. Also Indian crape myrtle or Crepe flower. The trunk looks just like what we call a Crepe myrtle here in NE Oklahoma. ours don't have the pretty flowers like that one though.
Make sure your antennas are the right band for your CB radio, check all your cable connections and see if your CB has an option to increase transmit power.
Firesticks are good better than base loaded antennas unless one of those really trick ones like Antrons. Have you tuned antennas into the Radio.SWR. there is a way needs to be done on dual antennas. Also need decent Ground plane for radio to transmit well and you will most likely get out further with a single aerial on a decent mag mount in middle of roof. Plus with aerials up front you will most likely find miles back from where been will hear you instead of up front with Ground plane effects!.
@@TheRustyCracker That's your end not theres! If they can't hear you your not putting out and if you can hear them they are putting out ok. check your SWR first and now much power are you using? Not sure what unit you have? Some have a limiter switch on front and others a variable knob. The limiter is so if close to someone chatting to you you flip or dial so people further away your not bleeding all over there chat also like in UK if up high your meant to use so not wiping others out!. Check your cables and connections! if SWR is wonky it can be from that area?. Groundplanes is the next area to check/work on esp as have dual aerials and remember Transmitting relies on "Reflection" So the more metal in front of your aerials the further out you reach and has most semis have a trailer on your groundplane effect will be miles behind you rather than in front. The other thing is grounding as the outer of aerials needs to ground to metal best is chassis/cab and you can experiment with your SWR meter and lengths of copper wire connect one end to outer of plug on coax and other to a good ground source like an earthing point and check. Find a site that gives info on CB and Ground plane effects. If you havent got a SWR meter get a decent one with power so can see your output! Some units have a built in one i wouldn't rely on it till have checked with an off board one then once know you can compare and use on board for odd check from time to time.
Rusty... longer antenna whips do not equate to better signal in most cases. What you need to do is get the correct antenna length that matches your primary frequency (usually a quarter or half wave length). Any half decent RF radio retailer should be able to match your antenna length to your primary frequency with a little math and half decent watt meter. PS. If they charge you more then an hours labor to do it they are ripping you off.
Yes, everyone is right. It’s a crêpe myrtle I do have a comment about south of the border though for you I grew up in North Carolina south of the border was an 80s. Mega. Stop kind of like Buckys is today but it’s an old has been. Wouldn’t recommend staying there now. They should tear it all down and put a Buckys there.
Only thing I cant seem to shake off me is overpass cleances. They make me nervous. What if they missed putting up a sign? In Sweden where Im from free clearance is 4.5 meters, Anything below that there will be signs warning of, say, low bridge. Whats the "free" clearence in the US?

Try counting calories, and staying at around 1500 calories a day. I've been eating fruit for breakfast/brunch, having a quart of light beer and an almost normal sized (for normal people) dinner, and I've lost 25 pounds this year. And no cheat days/large meals to keep my stomach stretched, so I'm not crazed by hunger. The last time I lost weight, I would starve five days and eat normally (big) two days per week, and I was always hungry. I'd always been abnormally hungry before and since. I had gained about half of that weight back over 25 years, and am now lower than I got then, and close to my weight when I was 18 - when I was still a little flabby. I'm going to try to ditch all the flab now.
@@rafikoumimou3503 I'm pretty active, especially in the summer. I'd always thought that 2000 was the standard for everyone, and only recently learned that it was 2500 for men. Guess I could step it up some more, but I kind of question whether my body really even needs 2500. I think it might need less, as I'm older, not big at all, and I'm not carrying that extra 25 lbs around now. I'm guessing that another 10 or 15 will get me to close to zero flab.
@DanEBoyd u wanna always start w/ higher calories with some activity, ex: 2500 and watch the scale through the week if doesnt go up after a week thats your maintenance calories ... eat a little less than maintenance to loose weight maybe 400/500 less .
Actually military moves are discounted up to 65%… a full service military move from coast to coast at a weight of 7000 pounds coast roughly 5500 non military full service is 13000 dollars
@@wilE6764 It was just the worst one I've ever been to, dingy little place and it smells bad. But it's a shame because South of the Border used to be such a nice place and it's gotten run down over the years
