In this week's episode of Minutes With, we sat down with Chris Lambrianou, a former gangster from London's East End who worked for The Kray Twins in the 1960s.
Chris discusses his early ventures into the criminal underworld, reveals details on their personalities of the notorious Ronnie and Reggie, and opens up on his involvement in the murder that led to their eventual downfall.

I have read all of their autobiographies, and of the gang the only one I liked was Chris. His story was one of redemption, a bloke who was surrounded by the wrong people and ended up in prison for a crime he hadn’t committed and was only involved with because he was a loyal brother and friend. I’m glad life turned out well for him.

Easily the best crime interview I’ve ever watched on RU-vid. Honest, insightful, intelligent. And with none of the usual fantasy and bull. Lambrianou’s testimony should be shown in schools where the same culture of crime is creating another generation of young men who will soon screw their lives up forever.

Total respect to Chris. He knew he made the wrong mistake in getting in with the wrong crowd including the Krays he he paid the price by doing time for a crime he didn't commit. This was a truly fascinating insight into the life of a man who was a close associate of the Krays. U can tell he's honest & genuine in everything he said. I'm just glad he finally found happiness & inner peace that he turned his life around. Fair play

I've met Chris in fact he worked in the rehabilitation centre I was in. In Oxford, I was only young then I was 21, it was called the Ley community drug rehabilitation centre. He's I nice fellow, and tried his best to help people turn their lives around. He would take people to and from court. I Had a few chats with him, and hee never glorified his past and always carried the message he wasn't proud of his past but accepted it was part of his particular journey.

I find this to fit with my thoughts of these days with no respect from our youth. I had been a football hooligan in the 80/90s until I joined the British military. My fathers friend was a convicted drug smuggler and arms runner. I've always asked exactly who was my father in his day. I teach martial arts now and have had some teens try to get me into fights, I laugh and walk away. The main question is who do these older men know, what are they capable of and how far would they go. Today kids have absolutely no idea who they are acting up against, who they are talking to, disrespect and would they do the same if they had the slightest idea. Respect is a fast disappointing lesson that needs taught again

Once I remortgage am I able to bring any money out of the house if I was to keep it? I bought on a residential mortgage, and would like to remortgage (I did a 2 year fixed) and bring some cash out (hopefully) and use it to buy another property. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!
