Ben. What a beautiful couple of days. Hiking is always much better when the weather plays ball. Zero days are so important, physically and emotionally. One's battery always needs to be recharged. I never sweat on those tough times as one always benefits from these sometimes difficult challenges. Go well, mate! 🇬🇧🇳🇿
Oh man, I can feel your pain now. At least you managed to keep your spirits up despite all the obstacles and made a great motivating movie. Thank you, thank you for that. ❤
Such a great video yet again lovely! Just loving this adventure so much! Trail magic just when you needed it most! Road walking is so tough, especially on your feet, don’t envy you that at all, especially in the heat! That campsite looks and sounds amazing! Really enjoyed that, thanks Ben! Xx
Fantastic journey, Ben! Enjoying it so much. Can’t wait for the fourth part. Half had the Coast to Coast on my wish list but to be honest think it would be too much for me unless I stayed in Lodgings and had rest days every fourth day. Think I will stick to short two to three day hikes. I have to say your pack is pretty heavy! Take my hat off to you - a REAL achievement. Ann
Church Holme and Penine View were defintiely my best campsites, but Church Holme definitely the top spot! Thanks for another great vid, looking forward to the last part!
Ey up me duck. I think this is my favourite so far, maybe because of all the people's community spirit helping and chatting to you. The couple in the campervan, of course they helped you, they were from Nottingham me duck 🙂👍
Church Holme Campsite was the one place I was looking forward to staying at again. Steve and Vicky are wonderful, the facilities are amazing although if you visit the Swan Pub you'll see that Basil Faulty is alive and well 😂
Hi Ben, This is honestly our favourite series on you tube at the moment, you have done such a brilliant job of documenting your coast to coast, ups and downs and everything in between, it really is compelling viewing🙌👌. Definitely the right decision to take a rest day for the leg. Huge respect to you for keeping going for over a hundred miles on consecutive days, that's no joke! The ups on this particular section had to be the lovely people you met along the way. Trail magic for sure, sometimes it is the kindness of others that really does make all the difference 🤩🙏. Had to laugh, you are the only other person i (Shell) know who has eaten super noodles with a jacket potato for their tea, Pete looks at me like I'm an alien when i have carb on carb😂🙈. Keep going! We are all routing for you!🙌 All the best, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
Thanks Shell. Very kind words as always. Yes, the kindness of people makes such a difference. It really does. Gotta love a free jacket potato! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Really enjoy being part of this adventure with you Ben. You definitely did the right thing having recharge day. The drone footage you've taken has been amazing. Have you kept in contact with the people you've met?
Excellent episode as always, Ben. And it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet you, I'm super touched by the shout out and glad the goodies gave you a little boost. As a side note, I'm wondering if it was the jacket potato you found in the hiker box that gave you the voms?
Amazing video of your epic journey again Ben. Such a determined push forward given your leg issue..... Hats off buddy ! Looking forward to the final part 4. Jacket potato and noodles for dinner anyone?🙂 Cheers Mark 👍
That’s a tough lot of miles there mate , some really nice footage especially with the drone 👍 many thanks for the mentions and glad you enjoyed the grub , can’t wait for part 4 🙏
Hi Ben, watched all 3 parts this evening and has been a very enjoyable watch! I wouldn't feel bad about taking a small break, probably the best thing to do in all honesty. Interesting to see the amount of lovely people and helpful places along the way. That is definitely a refreshing feeling. Look forward to the final part 👊
Where can we find Russ aka @the_trailhunter these days - I thoroughly enjoyed watching Russ' videos on RU-vid and love the @thrunotes he designed - a great product and I need some replacements!
I've just caught up with all 3 videos and was so glad your leg improved after the zero day. It's not easy to train for the rocky terrain of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales when you live in south east England so you did very well and battled through some pretty terrible weather too. I donated a while back and am glad to see that you have raised a lot of money for a cause that is very dear to you. Looking forward to part 4.
