Thank you Alice for this lovely video! We're leaving tomorrow for a 2 week trip to Jordan, and I can't wait to see all those beautiful place you pointed out
This video was fantastic to watch. Every second awesome. We do not realize how much Jordan has to offer, a wonderful way to get back to ancient times and feel the history that took place, especially at Petra, the carvings. We can tell by the way you look that you were amazed being there, same as we feel here and thanks to you! P.S.: Please next time, take me with you...:) I can hold a camera...:) Thanks for sharing.
alice you've done an amazing job by presenting spectacular eye-pleasing visuals of Jordan's dessert and petra. Excellent video. loved it very much. greetings from india.😍
Absolutely amazing terrain. The night skies, I have no words! I truly enjoy the history and would love to see Jordan someday. Thanks for an outstanding vid!
THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO, A TIME OF PEACE FOR PALESTINE AND ISRAEL WE ARE SLAVES TO OUR LEADERS THIS VIDEO IS A CELEBRATION OF WHAT WE ALL HAVE IN COMMON PLANET EARTH AND THE LOVE OF THOSE WHO ARE ABSENT FROM THE CURRENT POLITICS THIS WAS AMAZING, A GREAT PLACE TO ESCAPE BACK TO PLANET EARTH WHERE WE ARE ALL EQUAL NO GREED, CONTROL AND POWER, HATE ETC. I LOVE YOU AND THE ESCAPE YOU GIVE ME IF ONLY FOR A FEW HOURS A DAY TOM
Alice, you give great info as always. But at this point, I would have real trouble contributing tourist dollars to a country whose population celebrated so appallingly when Hamas murdered and kidnapped hundreds of innocent people Oct 7.
Well I’m not going to get into politics but there was no celebrating when I was there. And the war happened 2 days after I arrived. Jordan does not support Hamas they do believe Palestinians should live freely though. They are also the only country in the region without their own oil so tourism is their main generator of income, making it a very welcoming place to foreigners.
@@AliceFordAdventures I'm glad you were spared sight of the many bloodthirsty demonstrations which were / are easy to find on media. I would posit that kidnapping, rape and homicide are more than politics. Gaza was 100% free and unoccupied at the time of the crimes. Hamas trained and rehearsed for months in plain sight of thousands of Palestinians who stayed stone silent about it.
@@ExpeditionAustralia yes it was, many tourists were certainly on edge, luckily Jordan is like Switzerland when it comes to middle eastern conflicts and because the region has so many decades of conflicts the locals in these countries have a totally different sense of danger than westerners
Wow, I love Jordan! 💖We flew from JFK to Amman on a 747 of Jordan's National Airlines,✈ We didn't know at the time the Queen of Jordan ( Who was an American at that time ) 👸was flying up stairs in the first class compartment of the 747 until we landed in Amman. Thanks for the great memories of our time in Jordan. Love this amazing video of Jordan great camera work, great colors, great pictures of Petra. Cheers 🍷🍷🤠
Never would have thought of going to Jordan, but now its on my list of places to visit. Thanks Alice for the great video. Crystal clear video looks great.
It looks like the Caspian tiger once roamed Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine & southern russia. Black Hawk Down was filmed in Morrocco, Raiders of the Lost Ark was filmed in Tunisia.
Thank you George, it’s certainly an underrated country. Those camels were owned by our Bedouin host, he drove into the desert to find them for us. It was really great
This looks like a dream place to wander and roam from the sandy valley floor all the way to the peaks! And of course Petra is truly astounding! Makes one’s mind wonder about the long ago history there! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
