@@citris_mario5224 Ofc, the handicap is supposed to be an equalizer. Botez just played xqc in a match where she had 15-20 seconds and he had 10 minutes per game, the fact that she nearly won half the games is impressive, but that's because she is so much better than him, same here.
Having 2 people calculating the same game really helps. Levy usually smashes Alex but the fact she knew Andrea was also calculating for any blunders to not occur just gave her so much more confidence.
@@KQDUDE there is a great one, I think it is the botez sisters against magnus and ludwig lol They swap who is hand and brain each game, and swap who plays, so it is Magnus vs Alex with Andrea/Ludwig as brain and it alternates
Just force yourself to play the game in that format and you will pick it up fast. You can play a lot of games a day. its a skill that transfers back and forth, fast reading, certain gamers etc can take in a lot of information in a "snapshot" of their glance. Kinda how baseball players can gather information on a ball going 90mph no problem. Just get to practicing, google it up.
I feel at this point in Chess content, the most shocking thing someone could do is reveal that you were actually playing who they said you were the whole time.
@@elisa.alexander This was funny. It's weird, I can't put my finger on it, but Levy sort of turns me off a bit. Just a personality thing. But it's funny to hear him called cute. He's not a bad looking guy I guess. Just a bit of a ... drama king sometimes? Anyway, I am happy there's so many chess personalities on youtube. I hope that doesn't oversaturate the market, so to speak. I like the idea that people can make money with that kind of content, and encourage more people to play chess.

Advice to Editor: It's confusing to have the commentary of Andrea/Alex at the top when the chess board is being shown from their perspective at the bottom; It would have made more sense to flip the commentary windows to match the chess board side from which they play.
@@derrylclark306 It's better to matchup the commentary windows to their side of the board for the same reasoning a player's picture is put on their side of the board -- it's more organized and intuitive.
but on short matches having two making the calculation does not help at all, because is hard to move without understanding the move the other tells you, and if you just move on command, what is the point? Also Gothan having less time give them less time to think or explain moves in his time. That is why Andrea lose many games due lack of time but Alex dominate most of her matches. So as we can see, there is absolutely no benefit for any of the two getting clues from the other at 3 min games. At 10 min game, being two finding moves could help.
I'm gonna look for the "Sad little Bishop" video from 2020 - when Alex and Andrea played, And Alex busts out into song during a chess game! that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life ... :)
Alex is amazing in terms of chess skill, intelligence, how quickly and deeply she can think and calculate, how funny and entertaining she is, and she’s pretty as well.
Advice for future such great battles: Music out - Levys self-talking in (like when he played Dina on her channel). Especially when he randomly picks fights with his twitch chat^^
