I hired a Game Developer on Fiverr to make me a game to speedrun 

Eazy wants WR’s so much that he pays to have a game made just for him so that any run is a WR run

I just had an evil idea. What if Eazy hired a dude to make a normal, short-ish game with anti-speedrun measures and then paid a guy to speedrun it?

if the game was polished a little, and generally the bosses made harder, i think this would make for an excellent game. Umair did a nice job and definitely deserves a raise.

Eazy you should attempt to speed run Aragami. It has a neat story and a lot of unique mechanics as the game behaves with light and a small skill tree to change your options!

A fellow Unreal Engine 4 game developer here, and I say the game looks and plays pretty good. Given that it's said to be worked further and this was done within a more relaxed game jam time frame, I have few things to note here (hope Umair reads the comment section and this comment gets on higher place by chance) - That's a good use of the marketplace dungeon asset pack, though more colour and lighting variety on the map would be appreciated. - I don't know how Souls like level design supposed to be like, but I felt like the general visibility on the levels can be improved more, and with that movement speed combined with third person camera at that distance, it should've been less claustrophobic than it is now. - Animations and movement feels definitely need to be improved. Though being that it's Mixamo animset (and possibly on other biped characters), I know how hard it is to improve Mixamo animset due to slew of issues with it (blame Adobe for this). One sticking out like a sore thumb is that jumping animation and motion that don't feel like jumping, and lots of sliding. (And given the lack of verticality on the level, jumping felt unnecesary, but you may have another level with more verticality later on) - Health bar widget components on enemies can be made screen space instead, and should be only shown and momentarily lingers for few seconds when the enemy is damaged and/or tagged as the player target to be attacked on. This could reduce clutter, and you can shorten it to reduce further clutter on the screen. You should also provide option to disable this entirely. - Boss enemies should have a dedicated boss health bar widget, with it being updated on every receive damage event, as opposed to the same floating world space health bar. Overall, this is pretty decent for a game built in one month for speedrun fun.

If you ever do this again I recommend asking for an in game speed run timer. Makes your job even easier.

A perfect game to speedrun would be one where there are multiple ways to do a few different objectives so you can work on optimizing a route, thats where the fun is

If the heavy attack cleaved through enemies, it could have its uses in a speedrun. Say, the enemies are grouped up and your main target has low health, but you don't want to risk missing it, so you use the heavy attack to damage them all and reduce your risks.

The environment looks so much like bullet per minute U can try speed running that game btw it's fun
