If someone hitted u with a sword try pearling down if u landed the pearl on the person hitbox pull out the hotbar totem to prevent being d-tapped and open the Inv and put in totems after being popped its just a predicting game and always when putting totems always have a totem in ur hand

I think u r BETTER than lt5 but if u pop instantly retotem cuz u didnt sometimes and u had no totem in offhand... u should always have a totem in either ur offhand or hand (idk)
