A lot of what you spoke on resonated with me. I'm 35 years old and a few years ago I started feeling similar to what you described. I used to spend hours scrolling on FB and it often felt like everyone else was living life and I was stuck. I deactivated my account, started to take my relationship with God more seriously, I meditate and journal. I also started therapy again. I started a IG account and I follow close friends and family and accounts that inspire me. All these things have had a tremendous and positive impact on my mental. It's a continuing process of choosing to be happy and content with your life as is but also knowing that if I want something in my life to change I'm the only one who has the ability to do so. Thanks for sharing your journey because I very much felt like I was the only person struggling with these types of feelings. 🥰

I had to pause the video. I once heard a preacher say that nature was always supposed to be our entertainment. When you said what Josh said that it is God’s technology that is so true. I have always felt better mentally when I’m outside not distracted by my phone. Last fall I just sat in a park and looked at all the beautiful colors of the trees. Most people today will try to make you feel weird for doing that…… most not all. But I realized for myself when I take the time to enjoy nature and just be in it, those are the moments I really enjoy. ♥️. I love the beach. I love the woods. Yeah I can definitely relate to you. I feel you on the 29:55 part of fitting the mold. I felt that with my crochet/knitting journey. I see all these AMAZING talented people creating art/magic and forget that I am just as amazing. If not a damn unicorn in the crafting space. I thought I had to make all these basic colors and English styles of knitwear and honestly I was like bump that colors is what I love and colors/interesting pieces are what I want to wear. But it took me to taking hiatus to realize and live fully in my power. It’s a beautiful journey.

I normally do not comment often, but I felt the need to because I related to this video sooo much. Background story; few weeks before my 22 birthday last month I have feeling off in my spirit. In term of why I am not fullfied, why I am comparing my self with other people. Is until two day after my birthday I got realization to how my relationship with Jesus if far away despite grown up in a household of where a learn about Jesus. SInce then I decide to go back to my roots and re-learn the bible every day, pray to God to fulfill the empties. I love the how you were transparent and vulnerable about your developing relationship with God. A lot of people would think that you would feel fully content with all of your achievements and blessings. However, no matter how many items you possess, it will never fill the void where the presence of God is supposed to be. I too felt lost but that was before I was intentional about building an intimate relationship with God and He just makes me feel so complete and loved. I honestly don’t know how I thought I could carry it all by myself in the past. Thank you for including such a powerful aspect of leveling up, because oftentimes influencers make it all about materialistic things or appearance, excluding such a foundational part of life. Reading the word for yourself is so critical to any area in your life that you are looking to develop.

I think this is definately what I need. The season of silence, I have morning devotional routine, but it seems just a routine and not a true connection. I have been left feeling empty, my finances are shambles, to be honest my biggest blessing is my husband and children seems the only thing going good for me ( thinking now, seems lol one of the best thing I need to be working for me) However, that doesn't prevent the feeling of emptiness. I am going to try this silence for a week starting. I have to remind myself that social media is only what people want you to see they don’t always show the ups and the downs cause life isn’t sunshine and rainbows all of the time. There is a verse in the Bible that says comparison is the thief of joy and when I catch comparing myself I’m like God is in control the only reason that I feel like I’m moving slower is because I can see what other things people have accomplished. Speed is relative if we weren’t able to see all the things people are doing we wouldn’t think that we are moving at a slower pace. You don’t know that you are walking slow until someone walks past you.

I said to my husband a few months ago about being in the "quiet" more. He literally always has something playing in his head from the time he wakes up and go to bed. Especially he was/is learning Spanish, so there's always noise. If its not his Spanish, its sports highlights, its always SOMETHING. And he is super anxious all the time, it was becoming a problem cause he had no patience at all. And I told him to have some quiet time sometimes!! Cause imagine being stressed over other people's BS 🙄.

Welcome back ISI. I’m so proud of you. Out of all the videos I have watched if you, this one by far is my favorite one. I can relate to so many things you have been going through. I’m still going through it now. Why couldn’t you live in Maryland I wish I had a friend like you. You put so many things in perspective for me today like I’m still having issues finding myself I still don’t know where to start to know myself. I just turned 34 in January and I feel like I still don’t know myself yet. I will say I have to get that bible you have because at the end of the day I have to get my relationship with god right. I did go to church when I was a kid I did children church too. I been to bible study and got saved but I still have trouble understanding the Bible and the word at church. You know what else is crazy have you ever experienced listening to gospel music and just start crying. This keeps happening me and I cannot figure it out to save my life. I just want to say I’m happy for you I’m glad the old ISI is coming back and wishing you so many blessings. Tell hubby I’m feeling his Instagram tips. So i’m 16 years old and ever since the pandemic i’ve been feeling this way too… i’m not Christian but i love hearing different perspectives and ideals of religions bc i am Muslim and i am not starting to get closer with my God.. and with the two weeks i have done that i have felt better and uplifted.. it’s wild bc at one point i was a “fake” muslim. i barely read the Quran. idk why i’m commenting but i loved this video

Dammnnnn crazy how we’re all recognizing these cycles now. Hitting rock bottom too many times that it’s like wtf. Just the other day I described the feeling of my own repetition as putting a new bandaid on the same wound. Not cleaning or healing, just covering something so I don’t see it anymore but it’ll eventually burn again, needing my attention. Idk, glad I watched this video though. I usually watch specific content but something told me I’ll understand deeper what I’m going through if I just watch this. So thank you :3 ❤

Soo wild because that's literally one of the first dates my husband and I had. Not intentionally either, we were walking past a park near his apt and we just went, sat on the grass and he was teaching me how to meditate cuz I SUCK at being still, calm and centered. More then than I do now but I'm still a work in progress....#Shoutouts to dope husbands who teach us and help us to improve 💯💯
