@@athousandbrains125 As a Ukrainian, I would prefer if Russia would just leave us alone and do not cause more pain and suffering for us and our families. It is a horrible situation. Ukraine is not a NATO member and there are no missiles on the territory of Ukraine threatening Russia. It is a part of Russian propaganda narrative that we cause any security threat to Russia.
@@irynabogdanova8676 the problem is with your politicians who fail to accept the reality on the ground that's if they have a choice anyway. The more they invite the west and US the misery Ukrainians suffer just like the way Cuba is suffering for accepting the communists in their country. The only option in my opinion ( which doesn't matter) is Ukraine to be neutral.

People should always prepare for the worst situation. If I were Ukrainian I would get some of my money from the bank and transfer to gold or other countries currency. Looks like rich people have already left in January.

Why fight? If a country exists in peoples hearts, there's no changing that. Even if you occupy the whole territory of a country, ruling people that are against you will be difficult, and there will come a time when they regain their freedom once again.
@@Bambim8 Coming from Lithuanian perspective, it is important to resist because if you dont, it lets them create all of these agendas of "people wanted it themselves/they weren't against it". We had one of the longest partisan wars in European history against the Soviet occupation, and it was absolutely hopeless, but we sometimes refer to it as a "fight for dignity". And today's Russia still tries tįo tell us that we wanted to join :) . But we know the truth, because we know we resisted, it is very important for the national spirit. And again, how do you imagine changes and freedom would happen if there would be no signs of people resisting the occupation, russians would just think that ukrainians wanted to join them and west would have no justifications to be against occupation, you made a pretty stupid comment here.

Putin just created the legimacy and strengthened the necessity of an alliance. If he genuinely desires peaceful coexistence with Russia’s neighbors he can have peace promoting talks with each nation. Isn’t this a reasonable outcome? Peace for generations to build upon.
