We had the opportunity a few weeks ago to visit Baker Drivetrain & build a transmission for Maxwell House Chopper! Besides being so excited like a little girl I was extremely thankful for the opportunity.
Not only are we putting a Baker Drivetrain into the chopper but I got to build the transmission of course with the help of Scott the crew at Baker!

Watching you build that trans brings back happy memories of Vo Tech high school 56 yrs ago. Absolutely the best years of my public school education. Shop teachers were absolutely the best role models who enjoyed teaching!! Awesome video !! Thanks for taking me along!! 🏁

I run a DD7 in my 09 FLHX, best modification I have done as well as the Baker Attitude Adjuster, Truss Style Shift Lever assembly and their double roller bearing output gear. Baker Drivetrain is the absolute best!!

I worked at a machine shop in spring lake Michigan 20 years ago that machined the shift drums. I have pushed pins into the forks. Pillow blocks and trap door too.We did a lot for baker drivetrain. This is awesome.

I was living a block away from Baker when they first moved into the building. They were incognito for years. Heard some bad ass motors and stopped in there when a dude was out with a bike. That's when i discovered the bad ass engineering going on. I miss having them as neighbor's. New neighbors is Onondaga dragstrip.

I have a DD7 in my ultra classic, 2015 look on Baker photos on site, the bikes on there. I love it. Rpms stay low cruising speed. Does well over 100 mph.
