“Growth and comfort do not coexist”. Such a powerful quote and was evidently delivered throughout this video. One of my biggest fears is to stay stagnant in my life and there are sooo many dreams that i want to accomplish while I’m still breathing (and by dreams i mean personal goals and aspirations). And ive learned the only way to get to that point in life is to truly put yourself out-of-the-norm - which is ultimately uncomfortable. I believe that in order to grow, you have to be willing to take initiatives that are best for you, not for anyone else. Sometimes people won’t agree with what you want to do - which can add to the “uncomfort” in making said decisions. But if it brings you fulfillment, isn’t that all that matters? I’m genuinely happy to follow along your story, the message you hold is going to resonate with so many people!! P.S. The visuals in this were soo goodd. Your cuts/transitions are so clean. COME BACK TO NEW YORKK SOONN 🗽 :))
Means a ton having you here and watching one of my films-- Even though compared to your works, there are so many things I lack and need improvements on.. :o And yeah! I totally agree! All that you want to achieve will most likely have to be through a process that won't be a comfortable thing, but that journey is what growth comes from and ultimately/hopefully you achieving your dreams. I love that you mention the idea of being "willing to take initiatives that are best for you" because there aren't many people who take that deep into consideration. THAT is what makes you DIFFERENT compared to those around you and THAT alone is good enough to make you a step closer to the person you envision to be. SOO SOOO GLAD I met you during @lets.rippple and I hope to visit New York again or who knows, maybe you'll be in California before that even happens.. Unless.. November... :o
After 3 long months of planning, filming, editing, and ALMOST scrapping the project as a whole, I'm excited to be sharing with you all what has been in the curations. (:
Proud of you Yoojoon ❤ It's crazy to see someone I've known start to bloom and flourish into the person they dream to be. I'll be catching up to you soon enough 🫡 Until then, keep writing your story.
@@isaacyangss Ahh, all love Isaac! I’ve definitely been pouring all that I have into this journey for the past half a year and man has it been one hectic journey! But of all the things, I’m genuinely happy with where I am and what I’m working towards and I hope to see you continuing the creative journey as well! (: I’ll be writing my story in the meantime.

Great stuff. I love the storytelling and how the idea of just taking that leap is just always on the mind while watching. Know this isn’t much from a complete stranger but it was really great! -Alex

I needed thiss. the video's sooo good, everything about it editing, filming everything. You're my inspiration, someday I wanna film like this too ( I do photography sometimes, that's what I know like how to do and enjoy it, I wanna film with a camera too but me broke too lol)
@@mummidisiddharth-t4t I'm not sure exactly what you mean by filters, but for camera filters, I had an VND + 1/4 diffusion filter. Everything was shot in a log setting and I color-graded them all. (:
Wow, this video truly resonated with me on so many levels. Your journey from finding comfort in routine to embracing the discomfort that leads to growth is incredibly inspiring. The way you shared your experience-meeting new people, going beyond your comfort zone, and capturing the essence of that New York trip-was beautifully done. Your editing skills brought every moment to life, making it feel as though we were right there with you. It’s amazing how much effort you put into planning, filming, and editing this, and the fact that you almost scrapped it makes me even prouder of the end result. It shows not just your talent but your dedication to your craft. Your message about discomfort being a gateway to growth hit home, and I think it’s something everyone can relate to. I’ve left comments before about how great your editing is, but this time, I just want to say that your hard work and storytelling really shine through here. You’ve created something truly special, and I’m sure this will inspire so many people, including me. Proud of everything you’ve accomplished!🤍 You’ve not only grown as a creator but also helped us as viewers see the power of stepping beyond what’s familiar. The way you captured this entire experience was bold, real, and inspiring. Your dedication is clear in every frame, and it’s amazing to witness how far you’ve come. Your journey is a reminder that creativity and growth come from pushing beyond the norm, and I’m excited to see where this mindset takes you next. Keep pushing those boundaries, because your work truly leaves an impact✨🫶🏻
