Idk when he talked about the hit that he did where the guy was critiquing him and he eventually admitted that he came to love him was beautiful i found a new respect for the way that they lived back then
@@drakobby6418 yeah that was probably his best story on the podcast. The craziest story was the one he told afterwards about that czech guy and the club he owned
I worked with this highschool kid whose last name was Gambino and he had absolutely no idea who Carlo Gambino was or his family's history. Carlo Gambino had a brother, and the brother was a civilian who went off and had a family away from that life. This was his grandchild, and this kid's parents must have kept him sheltered because he had no clue about his own name.
They probably weren't even related. It doesn't mean he's sheltered because his parents didn't teach him that murderous criminals were a source of pride. They probably taught him about real things for Italians to have pride in, like leonardo davinci.
Gambino had a great point about respect and love. Those arent just words, they are also actions. He had to get that guy to understand that especially in that line of work.
I love Sammy's sense of humor and when he gives that smile when he's joking around about something it's awesome. Just to know he's a killer and a tough guy but yet he's also got a sense of humor too. That's special I think.
@@Patriot66699 , knobbys Angry , 🤣 Who wastes their time watching Sammy if your a hater , You Poor knobby !! Go fuck your self and you may feel a lot better get rid of that tension, 😉 Why are you even here ? To be an asshole ? You WIN , ,incase you didn’t know , what you say about others is a true reflection of your self 💩💩🕳 😉
Those old Bosses like Carlo, Tommy Lucchese and such were so much smarter and wiser than doctors and lawyers combined. They didn’t even finish school! Yet they are so freaking smart. They ARE GIANTS as Sammy the Bull mentioned in his podcast. Love it! Incredible! God I Love your stories Sammy!!!!!!
U are my favorite ex mobster Sammy.. read " Underboss" several times now and hearing these stories of ur past life directly from u is golden ...ur a great story teller and u have my ears 2 listen 2 them all ...btw thanks 4 creating this channel! Adios amigo
different code back then and type of respect ! i wish i was born back in these times just started listening to you and i love it reminds me of listening to my grandads old tales
Great stories and great teachings thanks Sammy you've lived one hell of a life. Much love and respect from all the way down here in the South island of New Zealand.
“If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” I John 4:20-21 NKJV Great story, I pray everyone has a blessed day.
Sammy, could you tell us some Phil Leonetti stories? He speaks highly about you from the time you both were in the mob as well as when you two did time together.
@Brad Johnson Do some research on why he cooperated....remember that this way of life was a secret society.... You can’t compare him to any other cooperator based on the facts and people involved...And he certainly wasn’t gonna have anything done to him...It was the other way around in fact...
@Brad Johnson he was getting fucked on those tapes so he did what he had to do. No one else was there to have his back and was letting him get dragged down. Gotti was dry snitching.
Thank you for the stories and good content. I know there’s a love/hate relationship America has with you, but you know what you’re still alive and kicking! Make the best and make the most positive impact you can! You have a lot of opportunity to do so, and we need it!
Sammy's channel bloody well deserves millions of subs! He really does. I love your stories Sammy I feel privelaged to listen to them. Keep up this fantastic content.
Been saying this to some brothers of mine. I have no time for a man who preaches loyalty and values then runs around on his wife and kids. If you can do that to them, you certainly won't have an issue screwing over a friend. Its a first class cowardly scumbag move.
I feel exactly the way that you do about this subject Rob.... I don't talk out of school when it happens, but I'm not very pleased when I see close friends do it..
@@scottyd2262 I used to be that way myself. I would just take notes. Then cringe when I hear the men speak about loyalty and respect. However there is a time and place. But in true friendship we must hold ourselves and our friends accountable. It keeps us honest and can help us grow. We all need called out on our bs here and there.
@McFarland far better leader than all the crooks in government these days .. carlo ran a secret society full of rats and still died the boss absolute legend of a man
Just like Sonny in the Joe Pistone FBI sting. He knew he was gonna die and gave his personal effects to a bar tender. They killed him and cut his hands off Bec he was responsible for an FBI agent shaking the bosses hands.
@@anotherarmchairhistorian2831 Crazy isn't it? A lot of guys would've became informants in that situation to save their life. "On August 17, 1981, he was summoned to a meeting in the basement of Bonanno associate Ron Filocomo's home in Flatlands, Brooklyn. Knowing that he would be killed, Napolitano gave his jewelry to his favorite bartender, who worked below his apartment at the Motion Lounge, along with the keys to his apartment so that his pet pigeons could be cared for. Bonanno capo Frank Lino and Steven Canone drove Napolitano to the house of Filocomo and Frank Coppa, who was also present. Napolitano was pushed down the staircase to Filocomo's basement and shot to death by Filocomo and Lino with .38 caliber revolvers. When the first shot misfired, Napolitano told them, "Hit me one more time and make it good"
Such a great video. Much respect to you and your family. Especially your beautiful wife for the love, honor and respect she held all of her family with. She was a true Mom Boss!
Once you start getting into interviews you and Franceze talking would be amazing... Mike already spoke with Larry Lawton the mafia jewel thief and was a great interview
I respect the legacy of the originals. I love my wife and have been with her since 1997 without any other woman in my life. I can hold my head up high anywhere I go and know that the happiness we share is real. True love knows no deceit. Cheers from Vegas.
@@benderbendingrofriguez3300 Travolta version is like Godfather 3...a mob movie nobody ever questions, as to why it's not being mentioned. However, Armand Assante was great in other Gotti movie, but it was just too low budget
"I hope you don't love me like you love your wife." (Carlo Drops Mic 🎤) I told this story to my girl & she loved it so much she's getting a Carlo painting done by an artist friend for Xmas.
Silly me, I figured that loving and respecting my wife meant being loyal to her. I had no idea that it only meant doing a better job of hiding my disloyalty and disrespect.
Silly You , yip , I think your missing the point that he’s an ex-mobster mafia Man , incase you where not listening 🙉 the WHOLE point to this channel is an insight that has never been given , I agree with you 100% but A: I never married B: I may not agree with some of his pass actions however after watching and listening to Sammy on valuetainment I understood what and where he was going from. The reason you have so much feed back is because we all are aware of the fact what this channel is about, I appreciate every word he gives as I don’t see any other mobsters doing what he’s doing , with respect he’s lived it & isn’t dead . Maybe 🤔 this channel isn’t for you ?. ☮️
I enjoy your stories. My family raised me with the same values that you share. I am raising my son the same way. I have the highest level of respect and honor for you.
WHEN I WAS A BABY GAMBINO LIVED UP THE BLOCK FROM ME , MY AUNT WAS TAKING ME FOR A WALK WITH ME IN THE CARRIAGE , HE CAME UP TO ME , HE WAS SOO NICE TO ME LOVED ME AS A GRANDSON. JUST SAYING I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN BROOKLYN
I'm so happy cos Sammy's still alive and finally started to tell us some wonderful stories. I'm like a kid sitting next to the grandpa ❤ Keep share you're stories with us sir Sammy
I THINK he got them after moving to witness protection in Arizona. He definitely didn't have them in his younger life or even during the trial when he cooperated.
mr gravano you are one of the important characters of the mafia can you with your experienced in this life which is the most important figure in the history of mafia in usa and if you have a history with him. Thanks you!
Of course most people should know these kinda things whether they had any mafia or crime connections or not. Seems kinda like a no brainer to me, sammy
Yeah its good. Most accurate depiction of Gottis era stuff. Even still they left his megalomania-egomaniac personality out totally, portrayed him as a real G who was Cosa Nostra above all. He was G but he was publicity hound and in love with himself only, and his image. Im still waiting for Gotti movie where theres a scene of Johns unbelievable vanity. Because the image that they sold about him was only partly true: yes he was gangster, no he wasnt (even) Al Capone and even Capone wasnt that powerful. Number one in Chicago (short period just like Johns reign was), number two or lower in everywhere else Illinois and no power worth mentioning outside his state.
You are an EXCELLENT storyteller, Sammy. I hope you will talk about John "Johny Keys" Simone, the person you called the "Man's Man" for the fact he wanted to die with his shoes off and that he wanted it done by a made man. Would love to hear about it in your own words.
What a stupid question. It's impossible to know what these types have or don't have, they're constantly hiding their wealth from the government and fellow wiseguys.
