15:07 for context with the shield in cery vs camcal the shield only prevents damage in front of you. You can take damage behind or top or bottom of your hitbox when your shield is up. the shield is made for attacks coming at you, from the front you can block damage but below that’s just not in the games coding it’s only face-in straight and lookin up and down slightly shield with prevent that. I think the reason he died was the crystals was place far to below his protection range for the shield thus cause him to take damage which the shield couldn’t protect him outside its normal protection range.
5:23 is a thing that i called marlow's method ghost. the thing is because camcal uses 2nd keyboard, game doesnt register a shield RCM input unless you redo the pressing on your USE bind. i had it as well.
