I've been stuck fighting alatreon for the past 2 days. Is it possible to brute force it using IG lightbreak press with 3 teostra armor and 2 brachydios armor? I've been using velkhana weapon but i always got killed by the nuke attack.
the kinsect should be enough by themselves to get the element check, you have to use the slow one (veristag) and learn how to do kinsect drills to deal enough element dmg
Doing Alatreon with non Kjarr insect glaive is kinda anoying if you dont abuse the kinsect. I feel like to make up for the kinsect, alateons element modifier on normal IG hits is atrocious. With safi armor and frsotfang barrioth IG i failed the element check A LOT while playing ground glaive cuz i hate the slow kinsect-drill playstyle. When i tried charge blade i got the element check in like 3 hits xD
