Glad you recovered the bull. That being said, I think 62 yds was a little far of a shot for the way you appeared to be shaking in the video. You should have stalked closer or took a minute to collect yourself before taking the shot. JMHO. Congrats on a great bull.

I remember that first KY elk hunt from a few years back when you were with the Untamed. Pretty awesome hunt and so were the other two and yours as well. How far was that shot? It looked 60+ yards in the camera 🎥. But I know you have been training and done some hunts out west where they have to shoot further. I would love to hunt elk in my neighboring state of KY or PA. From what I’ve read I have to buy the $150 non resident license to even apply, but I could be mistaken. I would buy that if I knew that I could hunt KY a couple weeks for whitetail deer 🦌 and maybe turkey 🦃

Congrats brother! You do understand that a ton of folks including yours truly would give up a kidney and likely several other body parts for that tag right? Something special about doing that without going west too huh? I am putting in for the VA elk tags every year just because we can now. @@KirkPrice around 500. Still 25 stocked here will not cut it, we live we’re they would thrive. The new river gorge, greenbrier, and others would be great places for them and eventually they will cover the state. But at this rate maybe our grandkids can hunt them
