@@vijaynadkarni you should jailbreak yours and put LineageOS like these people did. LineageOS is literally 1000% better Android distro than rabbit r1 OS.
That behavior it had is such that modern obnoxious web/app design philosophy to just ignore errors and act like the user never interacted. Give no means to now whether something wrong happened or the user did something wrong or anything.
i thought it was going to give a robotic answer like, the weather is the outside temperature or climate of an outdoor or indoor environment. The correct way to ask this question would be something like this. What's the current weather outside today?
Keyword: mini Obviously you can get better with the same price but that screen size and how useful it can be with the maps, voice recording etc in a tiny device like that while being fully functional? Yeah that thing is pretty neat.
considering the lock button is the power button, you can probably enable the hold power to call assistant feature and map that to google gemini or something - and THAT would be the way Rabbit was intended to be used
I can see this being a great productivity device instead of having your phone with distractions you can have a dedicated device to view calendars, send emails and watch videos when necessary, if phone calls are able to make then you could make calls to co workers. If this was adopted by companies it would be great.
@@trinhnguyenluong4485do your own research lol, but I guarantee you it's possible, but not all android devices are supported so you have to check on your own.
I can really see this being useful when you are out traveling and just needed maps or some form of navigation for you without pulling out your phone on places you are not familiar with. Now I want one
In theory it sounds like a nice idea but my Pixel 8 Pro is a Ferrari compared to this, do I really wanna downgrade from a Ferrari to a Pinto? Not any day of the week.
lmao why does it need all that? it's like they were planning to run the LAM locally or something but then just couldn't get it to work. either that or just space for a whole bunch of telemetry
they failed by trying to distinguish it from a smartphone - disabled all the stuff that has taken various companies 15 or so years to carefully refine and replaced it with an interface that sucks - just for the sake of appearing different
Using the rabbit r1 in its original state is like buying a car just to look at in the garage. Installing android actually makes use of the device, instead of only running a worse version of chat gpt and google lens
that is definitely going to happen so people better get ready. maybe an easy to install image could be made for this device so it can be switched over by non-techy people
This guy have been making videos for a long time, I remember watching these when I was 14, now im 22 lol. It's crazy my guy still on 755k sub...GET HIM TO 1 MILLION!
To be honest, it kinda looks good as a specialised device, turning this into an iPod or something would be cool since the Android experience doesn't use very usable here given how small everything is
This is how it should have been marketed to begin with. Tiny little device running stock Android with the exception of one (ideally) nicely integrated assistant
07:40 - AS HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED on other RU-vidr videos... The battery is SMALLER than the space provided for it, so you COULD solder in a BIGGER battery! 😏👍 😎🇬🇧
I mean they made one of the best Android phone of 2024... Processing doesn't matter it's the looks, everyone in area is gonna be looking at you with it
I really love that it could be a nice, because the form and size, option for when you can't go out with your phone. I go for long walks in the city as exercise, and I don't like carrying my phone because of the weight on the pockets (and I don't want to carry a bag) and because of security. No one here where I live would suspect and target me, and I would still could have the smartwatch app, music and Google map, and (hopefully) the hability to call in case of emergency
Another data point in the question of whether phone makers should make phones in more form factors. Having something that small with full Android is cool. And the rotating camera could allow you to put in a much bigger/nicer sensor than will fit in an ultra-thin flagship.
