I did it! I damaged the front and back color a little bit and I accidentally cut through the wireless charging part. Wireless charging still works though because I only cut through the black layer. The back doesn't fit on at all and I totally need a case for the future. The phone is charging right now :D
Nevermind! Wireless charging no longer worked after I put the back glass back on. I'm not sure what causes it because my cuts only went through the black plastic layer. It's probably just the contacts that aren't touching the motherboard. It's been charging for a while now and it's at 100% but the green light hasn't come on. Amazing mod, I can't wait to test the battery :D

Dizzz It's great! The glass doesn't fit on very well and there is a small gap between the frame and the glass so I'll need a case. The battery life is awesome tough. I get more than 7 hours of screen on time with WiFi and decent screen brightness. I could barely scratch the 4 hour mark before but now the phone seems to last forever!
calibration needed for the new battery on the s6. accu battery shows the same 2550 maH although it should be 3000 maH. also at 30% the battery voltage reported on accu battery was 3.3v, batteries shouldn't be discharged that low. do you have any work around on this issue?
Right now I get shitty battery life because my battery is pretty worn down. Someone on youtube did a battery test with the s6 where he lost 21% while watching a youtube video over Wi-Fi for 1 hour. I did the same thing and I lost 23%... My S6's battery is 18 months old and It's always on my charge pad so that could be the reason why the battery is so bad :D

Les puedo explicar eso: La batería del s6 es de 2550mah y entega un voltage de 3.85v y carga con un voltage de 4.4v. La bateria del s7 edge es de 3600mah y da el mismo voltage tambien carga con el mismo voltage que la bateria del s6 por lo que al cargarlo el celular va a medir el voltage de la bateria y al llegar a los 3.85v el voltage que entrega la bateria finalizara la carga y el celular trabajara con el mismo voltage que la bateria original . Carga o se descarga entregara el mismo voltage pero la nateria de mayor capacidad de 3600mah retendra carga durante mas tiempo. En conclusión al celular no le pasara nada. Espero que entiendan la explicacion.😀

I Think it's possible.. i saw the orientation of both the phone.. s7 and the edge , they both are similar .. i think it is possible but nobody has yet tried it.. it may not be worth if your phone get sacrificed...

Yes. I recently installed an S7 Edge battery to my S6 Edge Plus. Its a bit shorter and kinda hangs in loose but not too much of an issue. I also removed the wireless charging pad to allow for more room and easy heat transfer. Its perfect.
Gabriele Rotili yes the noble rom s8 port... the battery life initially was not that good so i uninstalled lots of system apps like bixby,svoice,etc and now the battery life great.. it lasts all day with single charge )
Why would you put a S7 battery into a S6 when we all know the S7 battery has a history of bursting in to flames, in addition you do not know if the S6 charging chip software is programmed to charge the S7 battery safely. Li-on battery charging software is very complex. Absolutely bonkers 🙄
