Man I must have watched that last sweep about 50 times...such a satisfying move to watch. I employ a similar escape but never thought to do that instead of simply rotating to guard. Extremely excited to give it a whirl , awesome content brother you're killing it 👏
Your jokes are excellent, and I like your delivery. Your grappling content is always solid, but i really like how you deliver the humorous comments and just keep going.
@@TylerSpangler Sure thing Tyler. Another thing, I think its fun that you hunt the neck, the guillotine is a pretty high percentage move but it doesn't get a lot of respect imho. For someone going against a lot of different opponents it makes sense to go for it, its only natural.
Big shoutout for unveiling the mysteries of the kimura grip, my grappling Yoda! And let's not forget the grand finale - that far side underhook wizardry with a full-on send-off, giving your opponent a one-way ticket to Flight Club. Clearing the airspace like a BJJ air traffic controller on caffeine! 🚀🥋 #BJJFlightSchool
LMAO sloth guard!! I apparently need to drill that guard some more... My heavy top pressure smashing game is too exhausting and I usually succumb to the 30 second rule as well!
I absolutely love when I’m watching and I’m seeing moves like way way way before like I swear I’m gonna talk to my students and run videos like this or we’re just looking at some stuff and I’m going to say OK right going for an arm bar and he’s not even close looking like it but I just know
I have quite a bit of cauliflower unfortunately. The best way to prevent it is to wear headgear, but it can still happen. The better idea is to drain your ear with a syringe when possible. My gf is a nurse who does it for me when needed, but some people can do it just looking in the mirror
Would have loved to see you dominate Nicky rod but I get why he doesn’t want that on RU-vid. Nice video anyway. Impatiently waiting for the next austin video.
Not sure about the ranks unfortunately. I would agree we were all going fairly light. I noticed a much different vibe in Texas where light rolling with a focus on movement was the better call.
The level of grappling there is a bit lower than I thought. Maybe I'll check it out someday 🤔 I thought everyone there was world class like craig jones
I know you’re probably heading back soon, but if you’re still here next Sunday you can come to open mat at 10th Planet San Antonio (Universal City). Starts at 12pm and ends at 2pm, mane. My arms’ a little fucked up, but I wanna roll with you.
Like the stuff you're doing but definitely feels like a bit of a cop out not being able to roll with any of the top guys, I get that you have no control over that but maybe revisit them sometime in the near future!
2:02 just spam a wrist lock until he gets bored! on a more serious note, do you ever spam subs from bad positions just to get them to focus on something? I feel like bjj guys generally don't do that
@@TylerSpangler Makes sense, I ask about ethan because he is almost your size so you wouldn't get starched in a way you would with the 2 big guys. I swear you make me think of the guillotine choke as the best way to get to mount while people say you have a "failed submission"
