FYI: Aztecs are still around. Most of the ones that didn't die during the first century of colonization married into Spanish inmigrant families over the centuries but in certain parts of what used to be the Aztec Empire the descendants are still around, speaking the Aztec language (nahuatl) and teaching people about their history.

If anyone's interested in the weird armor of the Aztecs- It's because they basically had warrior orders based on animals- The eagle and jaguar knights. They'd wear quilted cotton jumpsuits dyed in vibrant colors to look like their orders' namesake, and they were only allowed into those orders if they had captured 4 prisoners in battle. They also had the Otomies and Shorn Ones as warrior societies for the nobility, but their armor wasn't as meme-able as the eagle and jaguar knights.

Been a while since I watched an ISP video, how refreshing. I missed this.

If they ever make a global version of Medieval Total War, I want to be able to conquer the world as the Kingdom of Tondo, or at the very least be able to convert to Catholicism as Japan, and go on the Crusades as them. Conquering the World as the Holy Roman Empire or Byzantine Empire (and to an extent, Pagan Lithuania) is fun and all, but I want to do something more.... wild, to say the least. And before anyone says Crusader Kings II or Europa Universalis IV, no I am not getting those because then I would have to buy all of their DLCs just to get the full experience.

Started playing this fantastic game myself a few weeks ago. I play SS6.4 on max difficulty game and battles and on my 3rd attempt as England after twice being defeated by the AI. Scottish and French never run even outnumbered 10 to 1 and all my frontline runs if someone farts loud.
