@@user-nn5qw5mu4m Style is objective. I think it’s a great idea, and he’s sure to make more in different designs once he gets his business rolling. No need to be such a downer lol
I like the concept, but I think an improvement could be made in having the zippers on the middle piece in a way that could zip the sides closed so you also have the option for a smaller sized bag using just the middle.
I was thinking the same thing, cause we all have seen it happen to small businesses / creators and it’s horrible of course. But from reading the comments I do believe he does have this patented ☺️ which is so reliving cause like you said it could be stolen so quick. Sad and pathetic to say that overseas and/or sketchy businesses (⬆️ aliexpress, wish, etc. smh 😤😑🙄😒) will still steal it with or without a patent 😕😠 they really don’t give a fuq lmao partly bc it’s hard to catch or prosecute those types of companies cause overseas and also they’re usually independent sellers so there is a lot of them. The more you know :)
Ive worked with purses in stores recently. Make sure to include other shaped attachment options. Include alternative middle pieces with differnet styles (bows, pocket, rivets, pressed leather designs, patterns) as well. Some women prefer a Clasp to open, some prefer a Zipper... and include an option to have longer straps if you want more people to consider buying it
I agree! Also have to factor in the zipper color changeability for the base piece etc while coordinating the add ones zippers, for those whose want a different zipper color if they are picky. I'm not but consumers are.
Would be neat to have the straps removable to mix and match colors/ length. The straps are likely to be the first to show wear so they could be replaced, the bag to stay nicer for longer. Would also be neat to have the option for the middle section to be it's own bag for the option to use it on its own and to have compartments in the larger bag
Honestly this is pretty cool man, I am rooting for you. And once your business expands it would be cool if you would make different sizes and base designs for the bags!
This is an incredibly idea! Now you just need to add stuff like pockets to the pieces. I can see this being something that has endless design choices as well, like floral prints or quilted patterns.
@D3nn1s Naw, zippers r low quality. They last about 3 years. However, when they go bad, replace for a high-quality zipper. The quality is in the bag and extensions themselves.
I love it! The only worry i have is what if someone pulls on the zipper and all your stuff falls out. I think there shoulld be some kind of clip inside the bag to hold onto the zipper or maybe flip the zipper to the inside so no one can unzip the outside of it. Other than that, i love it! Keep going! ❤
I think maybe a liner inside would help. Like have snaps inside to attach a fabric liner that way you have a safeguard to keep your stuff from spilling and it would be easier to clean.
he didn't solve anything. you would still have to own the colors of bags that you want to mix/match lol. Oh u have a blue outfit? Change the middle piece to the blue purse you also have. OR just use the blue bag...same crap.
This doesn't reduce waste, you would still need to buy the other colors to change. It's best to just get some neutral color bag with recycled materials and be OK with it not perfectly matching your clothes.
You should add internal walls on the middle piece, so it can be used as a small bag as well as a larger bag. You could put the extensions inside the smaller middle bag, and if you're out shopping the user can take out the right, left or both extensions to get more carry space
Singapore 2007 by H55. Literally almost the same thing. There is no way this is actually fully patentable. They will have to just change something slightly if at all. Ontop of the fact his patent means literally NOTHING to the chinese production market.
This is so cool! One thing I might suggest, many people use the same bag so they don't have to refill it each time. Maybe add a large flexible pocket in each section or a clasp inside to store keys, a wallet, makeup, etc. But this looks amazing!
Good ideas! Or a removable insert with all pockets for phone, makeup and other essentials. When you change you grab your insert with everything, put it in the "new" bag and go. Would be so convenient.
Love the idea✨ and as a fellow designer I would suggest making a debatable lining (with pockets) for the bag. This would make it a lot more versatile and easy to organize✨
I actually thought every part had their own divisions. That would make the center part usable on its own and prevents scattering if someone unzips the parts while the bag is full
@@ominious7082 wrong. the concept of keeping perishable foods perishable longer wasn't a created problem, it was an issue that already existed. What are you on about?
@@osamedeuzzi3978 there were other mechanisms existed, albeit far worse. The concept of electricity wasn't as widespread as it is today. Refrigerator were advertised mainly to get people to use electricity and further open more business opportunities for electrical products.
It’s a good idea, I think it would really be improved by focusing more on style than colour. If you could unzip and remove a part to make a tote, add more in to create a beach bag etc… it feels like that would be a bigger primary benefit than colour changing. The colours would then be the additional USP that adds even more value
Well, of course it’s patent pending so nobody can take his idea better not because we know it’s this young man’s awesome fantastic idea and one of the sharks need to get him quick and give him the money. If I had the money I’d give it to him immediately, but I’m just an old widowed68-year-old woman living on a pension so somebody please help the young man. Great idea good job sweetie.
Of course once you get going, he can put patterns and little pockets and a whole bunch of different things. If the idea that he can enlarge this bag with zippered patches and change the colors I mean it’s fantastic.
Great tip. It would also free up the other hand to make the zipping much easier. Regardless....I don't see many women going through all that just to change how something looks. The firat chance they get, they will just buy another bag with a different style.
Its cool that you are critiquing a product and see something that you think would be a beneficial add-on to the product but the way you worded your comment comes off as you telling him what to do instead suggesting what he could do.
@@christopherespinoza-darnel8514how is that so? She said ‘tip’ and you see that as a command? Where are words like ‘Must’ or ‘Should’ used in her statement. Sometimes,it is Ok not to say anything!!
@@christopherespinoza-darnel8514 I wrote TIP because there’s a higher chance of him seeing that and reading my comment, I kept it short, sweet and to the point with an explanation of why, in no way was I even critiquing the bag for not having it I was just giving advice of something so small I don’t think he would be offended or think that I was telling him what to do. A tip is a suggestion and in no way did I form my sentence in a “telling” manor. And even if I did who cares it wouldn’t be out of malice or negativity it’s out of genuine appreciation of his product and giving advice on a small addition to enhance his product. Your comment is ridiculous and if anything I feel about your comment as you feel my comment was towards him. For you to take time out of your day commenting that to me speaks volumes really, go find someone who is actually being harmful or hateful to be the comment police about because that’s not what I did and in no way does it seem that way!
You should make it that it could be converted into a smaller bag. I think just Interchanging colors is not enough to make it usable for another occassion. You see there are different sizes for different occassions. Imagine a tote bag that can be converted into a satchel bag or to a clutch. It would be like three bags in one.
I agree. Actually think it should start as a small like one of those small small side bags, and grows from there. Then it's just one bag that you can change for any occasion
Exactly because they're gunna start as little annoying clutter collecting peices once they start getting extra color ends. And they're weird odd pieces no one will be able to store properly
This isn't going to change any industry, but is definitely super cool and im sure many people would love modular customizeable bags like this! Great work!
I saw this concept done in Singapore back in 2007 by H55 studios for the nations national day. It was called the 'assembly bag' and given to all attendees. I thought it was a really smart idea for a bag design. Its cool to see the idea done on premium materials and with a more fashionable style
The middle part needs to have sides so it can be by itself. That would make the side pieces into optional custom pockets. You can make multiple variations of sides for different functions.
Something to consider is for your customer to also be able to customize the size of the bag, not just color! 😊 really awesome idea. Great for green/sustainable markets.
Amazing idea! I would consider having a way for the zipper pulls to snap onto a metal fastener near the top of the purse, so the zippers don't fall down. Also, adding an interchangeable liner in different colors and designs would really elevate this design! I can't wait to see this product available for purchase! Wishing you lots of luck! ❤️
@@justarandomguy3969you’re comparing something that doesn’t have anything weighing on it with a hoody vs something that will have everything imaginable weighing on it with a bag
@@shanelewis5451 this is a womans purse, not a gym bag, also they frequency you open/close the purse is going to be much lower compared to hoodies not to talk about how much less often you wash your purse (if ever in a washing machine?) Its going to withstand no problem, also 90% of the time it fails its just the zipper part not the rails so you can just replace the zipper
I LOVE this. I find myself agreeing w the suggestions, like having the middle piece be functional by itself, zipper locks, and an option to zip the top closed. I don't like a snap top because i use public transportation and being in the elements, i need to zip my bag closed
Is there a locking mechanism? To keep the zipper from falling during repeated use? Also, might be a good idea to make extra compartments that are zip-on. Instead of being 1 big cavity, making it compartmentalized could be nice for organization.
it already exists in 2007. was given out during national day as goodie bag in Singapore. Had one, and was horrible only because of 2 things. 1. there are no replacement parts to swap out if any are spoilt and 2. the zips are surprisingly easy to split open the bag. that said, this bag actually looks like it has potential as it looks like better in quality and actual parts to replace any faulty ones.
This is why it's good to always have someone who knows business, around you. It's sad to see something of such value, being displayed as an "invention" instead of a mad "product". It's not even branded! You can literally make millions woth this, by giving people the right perception about it. It multiplies its value.
