Looks like the handcuffs cap your max hp, but it can be reduced still.

The item that caps your max HP does not lock your HP. It can still go lower if you take an item with a negative. It's just prevents you from having a higher HP than that cap.

Im not 100% sure, but i think for this character the piggy bank actually saves 20% of your materials from being lost rather than what it normally does

The handcuffs caps your max hp not your minimum hp, if you took an item with +2 hp it does nothing if it's already at max hp. If you took an item with -2 hp your hp will go down by 2 but if you already have hp more than the maximum then it has less of an effect.

Try and do the Old Man with ONLY Wrenches and Screwdrivers as your weapons. Items of ANY sort are fine as long as there is something to help, like pickup range, more engineering, you get the idea.

I like how Gray still plays DF and let's game it out are perfect but different examples of play a game wrong enough and you'll start winning

So far my favorite character to play in a game where you can run around with 6 (12 on one character) weapons, is the character that can't equip any weapons

These games need to add in an optional end of run endless high score round. Where you lock in your last bit of spending after the boss then enemies spawn in getting stronger and more numerous until death. Add in a leader board and now you can build to top the score after round 20, or you can build to survive and kill for top score in the endless mode. Just make sure it ramps up quickly so it doesn't add a huge time investment. Like 10-15 minutes if you have a ridiculous build.

Locking HP only stops it increasing above the "cap" so can still lose HP and then recover back to "cap" as per wave 17 to 18

Building around the blood donation would be super simple, just counter it with hp regen or enough life steal.

DF, a rocket launcher is a straight upgrade to a pistol, they have the same firerate and damage, but they deal explosion damage

If you are still wondering what is with the turret it has its own stat and there is a character that is all about turrets.

Imagine if Df had a run with 6 lvl 4 mini guns

I don't know if they updated it or I didn't notice but the level color of the weapon is around the weapon while the waves are going on example if something is level 3 its purple while fighting the waves
