I am Swedish, and my grandma lives in a very house in the middle of nowhere and there’s tones of scary stories known by the other people in the town. I have even heard trolls at night in bushes when we were hiking.
Had similar encounters with other fey of scandinavia for example lykt gubben or the lantern man in english. I was in a bog in the Winter so it was quite dark outside when i see a small figure with a tiny lantern. Never been more scared in my life
As a random guy on internet i had encountered lots of trolls wandering of deep forest of internet. From youtube to facebook to discord to instagram. They are the worst creature ever because they try to approach you even when things are going bad 🙃

As a person living in Norway I have met Nøkken, he is actually a really nice guy he let me escape with my life in exchange for my firstborn son (Luckily I have no rizz and won’t be getting a son
As a Swed I can confirm that trolls are real and can be harmless or even nice, but it's hard to see them because they blend in with the environment and sometimes do not want to be seen or known they are there.
Nøkken is not really a troll tough, more like a waterspirit or undead if you like, Trolls lives in caves and don't walk outside as sunlight can kill them.

As a Norwegian I can confirm the existence of trolls. One of the many species of trolls is the "Chunky Monkey Troll" which appears to be a normal *fat* orangutan at times but its true self is the legendary *big chungus* . Whenever it transforms into its true self, it releases a toxic gas from its stretchy bumhole which can kill anyone instantly within a 2 mile radius. The gas is even more dangerous than Dwayne Johnson's breath. Stay safe out there and one more thing...*LOOK BEHIND YOU*
Here in Sweden we have a lot of our culture and folklore that talks about trolls “tomtar” which means santas except these are small not a big man giving out presents

I am a Norwegian and I vcan confirm that It is trolls there, One time me and my family where going to visit my hut, on the way there wee saw a troll that looked like a old lady who’s a long nose one long grey hair, she hat a sting to use as a cane, she kinda looked like the troll that gave Espen askeladd the magic map.the under water troll is called nøkken aka nokken as you guys can say it
