This is one of my favourite podcast Ive ever listened too...that includes listening to Joe Rogan since 2015 and being down the bitcoin rabbithole for 4 years listening to hundreds of podcasts...it was for real your guest is an inspiration..having a "normal" human someone who is a pleb like me.I loved how you talked about dealing with nasty comments with compassion thats very Zen. I loved the flow of the conversation you both really listened to each other and spoke eloquently. Eddie is not "just a blue collar machine operator" hes an amazing inspirational special human. To have adversity and come out with such a positive loving vibe is a testament to his character. Thats awesome you gave him a platform to speak on and is a testament to your character, your a very switched on kind compassionate human. A book idea for Eddie ...a book on blue collar bitcoin..a plebs perspective.... if he wants to write on that as I found his view of btc was knowledgable and its always good to hear peoples different btc view points, how they came across it, their motivation/inspiration, views on sovereignty. The balance between personal freedom libertarians and us as social creatures. I was deaf in 1 ear till I was 6 and was bullied and had no friends my Mum picked up on it bless her and took me out of it and put I me in a small private Catholic school with no bullies and lovely humans I needed speech therapy lessons after my operation to get normal speech. learnt to be self contained that I didnt need a group of people to belong or feel accepted was happy and am happy to do my own thing. Never being into group think. Often the contrarian. This is how I found bitcoin doing my own thing reading searching and up popped btc. I love how btc is a big tent we come from different backgrounds soci economic classes educational backgrounds etc then once you go down the rabbithole we all part of btc...we all the same but different...its a beautiful thing, gives me hope for the future. BTC too has also made me get back into saving stacking sats being nonmaterialistic and only spending if its a necessary. I appreciate your podcasts and its incredible your output. All the best 🙏✌♥

Honestly, I was reluctant about doing the podcast at first. My fear was that people would stop listening before my personality and perspectives had a chance to get through. But I considered how impactful it would have been for a younger version of myself to see someone with the same challenges freely expressing himself. I realized that there would be at least one person who would get a great deal of value out of the conversation. I’m glad that proved to be the case with you. These days, it’s easy to fall into the trap of seeing public figures as separate from the rest of society. In certain ways they are; but in more ways, we are all just people. There’s little separating a RU-vid viewer from a creator other than one has the desire and willingness to create. Nearly all of us face challenges, obstacles, setbacks, failures and the fear of public rejection. One of my biggest challenges is something that’s obvious to everyone, but everyone has *something* that they consider to be in the way of their ultimate success. My hope is that if others witness me facing my *thing* then facing theirs won’t seem as challenging.
I had similar speech disorder in my early teenage years. I discovered that mediation and relax the mind help my speech and not thinking about pushing words out really helped me. Thru training jaw muscles and tongue exercises daily my speech got better and now I don’t have any problem with speaking.
I have my coin self custodied but my ETF exposure is through FBTC through my Roth IRA. I lumped sum at launch and continue to buy 1 share a month. It's going to be fun to see where it is when I'm 59 in 20 years. 😎
