I Joined Team Rocket 

I downloaded the rom and went to see what would happen if I beat Red. (SPOILERS) I sold the star piece, got a great ball, caught a Geodude, bought TM for Dig, got Geodude to level 16... Got the Clefairy from the girl, evolved it to Clefable, got it to level 12... Sell some other stuff (stonks from little girl, buy the three drinks and get 3 TMs at top of department store), get x attacks/speeds/accuracy. Save the game before Red. Geodude (barely) takes a metal claw from Charmeleon, and can Dig. It kills on a crit (or metal claw miss I suppose). Red sends out Nidorino, I swap to Clefable (switch mode). Tank one horn attack (barely), encore. Heal Geodude, faint. Bring in Geodude. I have one free turn to defense curl. Tank the horn attack+double kick, have +2 def. Alternate fresh waters and defense curls until you're +6 def. Alternate fresh waters and x attacks/speeds. 4 x speeds and I'm faster. 3 x attacks. 1 x accuracy if you want. Geodude sweeps Red's team with Dig and Rock Throw. Reload a save if you lose to Charmeleon, Nidorino crit, or missing a rock throw to Butterfree or Pidgeotto (if they kill you). Red's Death Quote: WTF?? Did you use cheat codes?? Bro, you weren't supposed to beat me just now! ... God, how's a man supposed to keep a plot going if you go about messing it up?! Okay, listen: just go along with what happens next and pretend like I just beat you straight out, okay? Jesus. (You) got $24480 for winning! (Then everything progresses as normal.)

TBH, I've always felt you are stealing eevee in the vanilla game. The npc says nothing about gifting you eevee. You just snatch its pokeball off the table. I named it "stolen" on one play through.

this is my most favorite pokemon hack! i just loved stealing pokemon from others and naming them after their trainers. i wish there was a sequel

i suffered through the first red fight so you didnt have to he has charmelon pikachu nidorino butterfree pidgeotto and mankey when you win u get called a hacker. No cheats all i did was grind a vaporeon and use a growlithe with intimidate and x special the vaporeon and just got some lucky crits took about 3 trys and you get 24k for beating em

I've always liked Team Rocket more than the other teams. Everyone else wants to change the world or some shit, Giovanni just wants to steal stuff. He's straightforward, I like him.

This is different from the unfinished rocket hack I played. That one had Jesse and James, and you could pick from Ekans or Koffing as starters. Possibly also Grimer.

BTW, Team Rocket Edition is even more fun if you apply a 0 exp gain patch to it. It'll force you to cycle your team members and keep stealing more Pokemon in order to keep up, which helps keeps the hack's main draw in the spotlight.

Played the demo way back and just played the release. It's _so_ good. However there are some glitches, you're gonna need to one shot magnemites or else you may crash to flash cannon.

That fight vs Red is beatable, if you take the time to grind. I won't spoil what happens, but it's pretty good

It's not surprising that team rocket is in charge of the "breeding" at the daycare, in all of the games, people will say that "nobody has ever actually seen a Pokemon lay an egg, but that they are just found after the fact" naturally for a kids game Nintendo wants to be as ambiguous about the topic as possible, leaving it mostly to the imagination of adults what actually happens, coincidentally Team Rocket is made up entirely of adults, and this mod seems plenty willing to make sexual references and even dark humor.

I recommend Pokemon Adventures Red (If you have played it and I somehow missed it, oof..) The story's fun, the new mon are great, and the dialogue is like getting punched in the face at times. It's great
