As a non Jewish woman, I live very near a very largely populated Orthodox community... I appreciate and respect what they do for the entire community as a whole. I hope it continues to thrive and grow.

I've never been to anything that big but we do have a Challah bake where 100,s come to make Challah and dance. Instead of naming countries where women come from it's congregations that they come from. It's wonderful

Many times I feel like the only jew in the world because I'm the only jew at work. Even my clients are not Jewish. The owners of the building are, but rarely visit. I always feel I have to hide my jewishness because if I dont, people will literally hate me. I'd love to live in a place that is more accepting, but for now, this is where hashem has placed me. Shalom

Great vlog - but could you explain again why can't you show the dancing for modesty reasons? Isn't it the viewer's responsibility to see certain content for example dancing and to deal with any thoughts and emotions that might be evoked? thank you in advance for explaining! :)
@skontheroad
@skontheroad Год назад
No. That is not what modesty is about. In any language/religion. We don't show our hair, or dance, in front of men as it would be considered inappropriate and immodest.

Most of them go for shlihut to all kinds of places even lost in the middle of nowhere to help Jewish people to keep up with their roots and tradition Just imagine the situation. You are in the middle of nowhere and you keep kashrut. You cant just go to any shop to buy meat or milk and most of products. You need to raise your kids in a Jewish tradition even though most of people around you are secular. But at the same time most of such women are so joyful and strong even though the life in galut is hard sometimes. It's not like in Israel where you have cosher supermarkets and school everywhere.

I am personally grateful to shliah in my hometown because without them wouldn't be about to realize my Jewish identity and mission in this world ❤

They uproot their entire family and move to a far away city where there are no synagogues or jewish infastructure and then commit to living there indefinitely. The goal is to provide Jewish services (kosher food, prayer services, traditions, etc...) to any Jews in the area, even if there are only a few people.
@thk929
@thk929 Год назад
@@al5845 Thank you for the explanation. Do they only serve Jewish people or do they contribute anything in any way to the local populace?

While I understand that this is directed to the wonderful Jewish community in some ways it pertains to women period. A lot of us gave up so much for our children, our faith (church, meetings, etc.), marriage, husband's job. There's lots more but I'm sure that you get the point. I truly appreciate and thank the Jews because my savior is a Jew, he's Jesus Christ and He gave so much for all of us who believe in Him.❤️

Not to sound like a downer here, love that you feel connected to your ethnicity and your ethnic religion, we all love brotherhood and sisterhood, but how is saving jewish culture and jewish religion saving the world, unless the world only includes jews and gentiles are not apart of the world??? There is only 15 millions jews in the world and 8 billion gentiles. If you save 15 million jews how is that saving the world, when jewish population is tiny. We have more pakistani muslims in my husband home town karachi then the entire jewish population in the world. There are 20 million people living in Karachi. Also jewish people are not starving or in extreme poverty, you never see malnutrition jew or Isreali, so they are not weak or vunerable or needy population so helping them is like pushying a moving car....you see people starving like skeletons literally, I do not know if you get access to these footages in jewish media or as orthodox jew but there allot of suffering out there. That why I love Islam, regardless of your ethnicity and religion, you see muslims running to help the needy and sitting with them, feeding them, being listening ear rather then just giving food and things they need with cold face. Thats why you see in rich neighbourhoods, the poor are pushed out of sight...just because because looking at them is like eye sore, it makes feel guilty so rather remove them from sight. You actually see muslim wanting to spend time with them even if the world does not want to, even look at them let alone honour them.... love is not words, it comes with responsibility, you cannot be a muslim when your neighbour is starving, love involving help and being there. Heres muslim protecting a jew ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E5og51Umpxs.html Heres a muslim secretly giving to a needy person, its wonderful to watch ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3YCBL4MBPlI.html Sharing a meal with the poor ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zPL1ULeTyz0.html Heres a pakistani muslim giving 30 million to Earthquake victims in Turkey anonomously www.theguardian.com/world/2023/feb/13/turkey-earthquake-anonymous-donor-us-gives-30m-victims

Not sure where you get your info, but who said there should only be Jews in the world??? And when the earthquake in Turkey happened--who was the first country to send emergency services? Israel. Who worked day and night, non-stop, to save as many people as possible, as volunteers? Jews. We do plenty for the community, both Jewish and non. We give money, we provide support, assistance, to both young and old, rich and poor, needy and not-so-needy, whether Jewish or not. And much of the time--we do it anonymously! As one truly should!

Whats your taught on jewish culture as a country where every single jew feels privileged for harming innocent Muslim children women… You feel privileged about this or you feel it’s wrong and you feel that this isn’t Humanity. Is this allowed to any Religion in teachings that to harm a human without any moral justification.
