I grew up not far from Harrison Arkansas and can confirm, very racist place, at least it was in the 80s 90s and early 2000s. I was born in California and went to school where I and another little girl and her brother were the only white kids in the class. Talk about culture shock when my parents moved us to Eros, Arkansas! I do feel like the younger generations are educating themselves about racism and don't follow in the footsteps of their grandparents. Honestly, even as a white woman, there are some down right scary places down there. Please always be careful, put your safety first.
