I Jumped Off Of A Bridge! [Appalachian Trail Episode 8] 

Days 63-79 ~ Miles 730.3-944.3
Daleville, VA to Luray, VA
Walked into Daleville, VA and took an unplanned zero in the Super 8 car port. Was super thirsty for some milk. Had a grand ole time at the Glasgow shelter and played wiffle ball, racing, wah-chop, ninja and learned to swing dance. Jumped off of the Jamesriver Footbridge. Celebrated Splash's birthday and crossed 800 miles. Got a hitch to Devil's Backbone Brewery and stayed in tent city and played cards with an awesome group of hikers. Side quest to Waynesboro, VA and stayed at the nicest hotel on trail, for me at least. Entered the Shenandoah's and crossed 900 miles. Lightning bugs and gypsy moths are crazy. Had some awesome views of the green valley before we decent into town and aqua blaze on the Shenandoah River for the next few days.
