Moving from this to Eternal is night and day. I like the gritty feel of 2016's designs, but the combat flow of eternal is like an adrenalin shot to the heart every time.
Totally. 2016 is worth going back to every so often for the atmosphere. Eternal is immediately addictive for that adrenaline-rush-combat-loop. I remember stepping out onto the Mars surface for the first time, in 2016; I felt totally immersed in that atmosphere. Even hearing the little flicking sounding effect every time the Mission gets updated. Those environments. But with Eternal, I'm totally buzzed by how can I look back at fights that once seemed impossible, but now are trivial. 2016 is an immersive atmosphere. Eternal is an addictive rush.
@UMBR. Eh. Doom 2016 can still have the same amount of rush as eternal tbh. Play the game with multiweapon quickswaps and move more. Tho yes eternals movement is probably far better, 2016 still has that RUSH.
