We all have this problem. My advice: have a few (about three) main practices that you want to do. Reading/watching tafseer, memorizing quran, ahadith, learning arabic etc. Everyone has their own points. But focus on those two or three. Even if you hop around. Hop over on one of those three things. Back and fort. That way you do make progress after some time. Beter than going through ten thing and not progressing in any of them because you never return to it.

Don't be afraid of falling back into bad habits, just remember that even if it's the hundredth time that u have failed to be consistent, u can still try doing it a thousand more. Until u r alive, u shouldn't give up on urself. And most importantly, keep praying for guidance.

Same problem here, but I discovered something that what prophet Muhammadﷺsaid أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل The acts most pleasing to Allah are those which are done continuously, even if they are small And it's remarkable motivation for me to keep up with الحمدلله

My way to tackle this problem: Start with a smaller commitment, and make it so that it takes a very small time out of your daily routine. If it's a course, do 15-20 min daily. Stay consistent for next month and your stamina to do it will boost up. Secondly, if commitment is big, tie yourself up in a situation where you can't escape ( pay a reasonable fee for the course, promise someone to join them etc.) and you will pass through it. You will start seeing benefits soon enough and motivation will start flying

If I may add to your brilliant advice Ustad- maybe you did touch on that briefly. I would suggest adding only 1-2 new commitments at a time. Following through on those before one adds anything else new to one’s routine. It’s believed that it takes 21 days to form a “habit” but I have read somewhere that it actually takes around 60 days for that habit to to become one’s routine.

Break the task down into smaller steps and just say to yourself that you're only going to do the first step. After the first step take a break and go for the second step. Once you've broken the ice then each step will be easier and easier.

Guys know that if your lazy what do you reckon your likelihood of attaining Jannah will be - if you want success effort is required and How will Allah help you if your not even beginning? Whatever you do you must intend to do it For Him and that is taqwa and sincerity combined.
