When I started with Swift in 2001, I got on the Walmart Dedicated Fleet within months as an O/O. I felt like a rockstar. I ran that fleet for almost 8 years before CR England (or Shneider) got the contract. I ran other dedicated fleets for a quick minute before I sold my truck and went to a desk job at Edwards AFB. I'm SO glad you mentioned feeling like a pilot because, that's how I always felt at Walmart. I kept my CDL and now drive for Circle K in Arizona. I still, to this day, conduct myself as if I were a professional pilot. This practice servs me very well.

Walmart does have local positions it's different domiciles that handles that and you are home daily. Here in Texas the pay is like $26.50 an hour going to stores and probably backhauls. Been trying to get in for awhile and i have 20yrs experience.

This guy has ran several businesses and at the same time he is totally pro-company. It’s almost like he will do anything to drive for Walmart. “ I didn’t cut my phone on for the first 30 days” Spineless
