there's nothing wrong with keeping things to yourself, except if it involves depression, if you ever find yourself in that state, dont hesitate to look for help, so many people think that they can deal with it alone and they're found sooner or later dead.
@@AnthonyVincentBTS yea. Sharing with people in your life vs sharing with the internet are not the same thing. I'm happy to hear that your offline support system is there for you
As a chronic illness patient, trust me - the medical system was a mess before, it’s even more of a mess now. But you hit on so many good points about developing good coping skills. It’s crucial when dealing with any kind of chronic or acute health condition.
Your cover songs of other artists either fall into two categories....perfectly done...or far better than the original. Take your time, we can wait as we know the best is yet to come.
I had crazy symptoms of some mystery illness for three years. The symptoms were always changing and always scary. I went to a different doctor like every week for three years. I started believing maybe I was just a hypochondriac because most of my tests were normal and I wasn't getting any answers. Then I finally saw a really good specialist last fall and got diagnosed with POTS, hEDS, and MCAS. It's such a relief finding out what's wrong and then being able to treat it. I'm glad your surgery went smoothly and successfully!
Glad you're on the road to recovery and the surgery went well. A musician, especially a vocalist, HAS to have good hearing. It would have been a shame if you'd have had to give up your singing. I'm gonna keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery.
I've been subbed for a long time and never saw this until now. The only thing that brought me here was someone's comment on your latest video. Glad you're healthy, dude. I had a liver transplant at 25 and definitely recall some of what you went through. You're takin it like a champ 👍
I'm in my 30s now and had a cholesteotoma when I was 5. Medicine's come a long way since then, I remember having to wear this special pad on my head. A cotton ball is much preferred (unless you have to wear the pad when you sleep, I'm sorry). Anyway, 30 years later, I'm still here, no extra problems minus a tiny amount of hearing loss in one ear. Glad the surgery went well. Hope the recovery goes well, too.
Wow. Good that it seems everything went smoothly with your surgery. I subscribe to gratitude. Every day I try to find things I am grateful for. It's not something that comes naturally I would say, but I feel it's absolutely necessary. Your attitude on life *will* determine how happy you can be. There will always be bad days. But, you can't let it hold you down. Feel your feelings. But don't let them linger without purpose. It's a balance that I think will always take work. No one will ever be a master, we always have something to learn from feeling gratitude. Sending positive vibes, and wish you the best of luck on your journey my dude
I'm really glad to see you're doing okay! I also had a surgery on May and that was my first serious medical treatment. I can understand the anxiety & fear before getting the surgery, i believe that every person live similar experiences and that's really normal. In the end, we're human beings. I hope you'll be better than ever. I've been following you like almost 7-8 years and even if we're not know each other, you're like a great friend for me! Take care.
So glad you are doing okay. I really empathize with your “before surgery” video. I tend to be very anxious about things as well. Anytime I have gone on a trip, I always write goodbye notes for my family, assuming I might die on the trip. So far so good though 😂 (only person who knows where the notes are is my bff and she won’t tell unless I actually die)
OMG, Ant! I’m just now seeing this but I’m glad you made it through your surgery and that you are on the mend. I can definitely relate to the anesthesia portion of the procedure as that is the scariest part. My coping mechanism was suppressing the thought of it and pretending as if I had an urgent matter to tend to after the fact so they could hurry the fuck up and get it over with. Luckily for me, my anesthesiologist looked and sounded exactly like the actor Leslie Jordan and he was just as sassy. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but I do recall him being extremely funny as we chopped it up. He definitely made the experience more pleasant. Overall, I’m glad you’re okay, I wish you a speedy recovery, and that the results are successful. - Kim🖤
Just happy to hear the surgery went well, dude. I am hoping for a speedy recovery. Looking forward to whatever you'll have to share with us when you're ready!!! 😁
It is great to know you are doing ok! I know how you feel. I have a slight issue with my right eye and when I went to my optometrist in 2019, she said to be on the safe side, she wanted to send me to a specialist to look at my right eye to check everything is OK with it and that I don't have any issues that could make the vision in my right eye worse over time and referred me for an appointment. I waited, the pandemic hit, that pushed everything back and I kept waiting and I kept asking about it but just told I was on a list and there was a lot of problems with waiting lists for people, partly due to the pandemic and I'd have to wait. I was relieved when I got a letter yesterday saying I could book an appointment to get my eyes checked and I got an appointment for the 27th June. I am a bit anxious but glad to finally have the appointment.
I'm glad to hear your surgery went well, and that you sound like you're in a positive head space in life. Gratitude is a powerful ally in this crazy world, and it's one I've worked to make a part of my life too.
This video helped me Iv been in pain and fear-filled for four years now and today I made a step to help myself thank you I feel same about a lot of things that you spoke about and felt nice to not be on my own I can’t wait for this chapter to be over and happy for you 🤝 that you’re shining sir 🍻
I watch here and there =) I am still subscribed =) don't know when I started following ^^ I can't take emotions very good so I don't watch everything and it depends on how I feel at the moment ^^ you are not boring to me =) I am glad that everything went well =) have a good recovery
Really glad you’re okay man! I relate that pre surgery pondering, that truly reminds you of the fact that you’re a meat husk. Those moments just make me wish for everybody to have a safe, healthy journey through life.
Share what you want to share online, the rest is your life and yours alone. Glad you went through with the surgury and all seemed to go well. When it comes to being a musician, anythign that goes wrong with areas that can effect your hobby or career is just horrifying. I used to play as a competative bagpiper and one of my most scariest injuries was to my hand when i broke it. I was a wreck after hearing that the bones needed to be reset. They are still not the same, and i had to relearn things, but i got through it. Stay Well, Anthony.
I love you buddy! You are an amazing singer and entertainer. Don’t let the haters get you down. So glad you are on the mend, definitely wouldn’t be the same without you. Your videos bring me so much joy! ❤️❤️❤️
I really want to wish you all the best Anthony. I love you man! Your content is great and you're a great person! Good to see you back and to hear from you. All the love from The Netherlands.
Happy to see your recovering. Recoving from an invasive surgery myself. Hope your doing well and take your time to heal. Look forward to seeing more of your talent show in future videos!
So glad it all worked out for you and the operation was a success. Some times when things done quite go to plan, it's best to take that time to take a step back and take time for you and your loved ones. Now I'm looking forward to see what you do next.
I’m so glad you’re OK! Whew! Sounds scary- and you did GREAT! Also, you never have been and never will be boring! You’re an awesomely talented, thoughtful, kind guy! Rock on! p.s. gratitude is always good- however you find it, the feeling of gratitude will always lift you up!
So glad that they caught it on time and you are on the way to recovery. Thanx for sharing with us. I love the truth. I respect your privacy. When you are ready or if you choose not to say. Always want to hear what you are up to. Kept you in my prayers and will continue to do so. I can't wait to hear what you are planning! Stay awesome! Love you Ant! 🤎
Thankyou for allowing us to relate to you better, not just an amazing singer / musician but a good honest person. gives me hope. As a fellow musician / producer ( though im no where near your scale ) - you are helping me to keep my own flame lit, i couldn't actually tell you how or why but you are. so thankyou.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you, thanks for sharing your talent with us and a little more. I know we only see what you decide to share but to me that is enough to say you're truly a role model. Thank you.
I'm glad everything went well Anthony and I pray you heal completely and have a full recovery in all aspects of your life. We love you ♥rest as much as you need to and if you need help then please get it. ^_^
I can say I didn't see your post, but I saw this and was like "holy shit what happened?" Glad to know you're healing and doing well. Looking forward to the new track and glad to hear your sense of humor is still around. Keep being you.
You're an absolute warrior 🤘 you've handled this with such dignity and grace- huge respect for you. You remind me of my husband- he's 3 years in remission and half the time he forgets he was ever ill he just gets on with life with a huge smile on his face, a wicked sense of humour and always aims high. Glad to see you taking care of yourself 🤘🤘
I’m so sorry I don’t even know you but I feel it. I have some um weird health stuff. Massively booked out I was and have been starving and dehydrating to death. My stuff is rare don’t panic your safe. I have digestive tract paralysis and some more and some photos like yours thumbs up!👍🏻
Glad you're taking care of yourself Anthony, especially with the way the Healthcare system is in the US right now. Had multiple health issues stemming from a few months back, including a pretty nasty stomach ulcer that ended up becoming a GI bleed. Was in the ER all of yesterday and early into the morning, mostly just waiting around in an understaffed hospital. Youre basically at the mercy of the system post COVID. Hope everything continues to heal great, patience is everything after surgery- dealth with a year of recovery after blowing out my left knee playing football. Just keep doing you and don't rush anything, God bless. Appreciate the transparency
Thank you for being vulnerable and real. I'm glad you're ok, you're not just an interesting content maker but also a cool person. I've heard you open up about your struggles with negative thoughts when people unsubscribe, I hope you keep reminding yourself that there are so many more subscribers who appreciate you. You are super creative, your covers are amazing. Listening to your covers have introduced me to new artists that I had not heard of before. I watched your cover of BYOB in style of Ghost from years ago, and now I love Ghost. Thank you for introducing me to them. Hope your ear recovers smoothly. Take care, Anthony
glad to hear it all went well! take your time to heal buddy and we'll be here when you're ready =) suffocate the dream was nice! thought the title had to do with the dreams you're sure off have dreamt but couldn't remember ^^
I love you. God Bless you 🙏🏾 I love your knowledge of how words have power in setting things in the future. There is power in the tongue. Heal and take the time to care for yourself.
Anthony, I don't think you could be boring even if you tried. Even if you were reading pages from a colour chart or something. You're a top bloke, just remember that. I'm glad that you're doing OK and hope that you continue being OK as well. We're all here for you. And maybe anaesthetist is a bit better to say that anaesthesiologist? I know it is for me, anyway, but then we do tend to call them anaesthetists here in the UK. Your covers are *cool* and don't let anyone tell you any different. Oh, and BTW, I've got my brolly and Wellies ready! 😁😉😈
I had the same surgery a few months ago, having had problems with a cholesteatoma for about ten years. I’m a musician, and ended up losing 50% of hearing in my left ear, as well as losing some taste on that side. Honestly though it’s so worth it to not have the incessant itches and discharges and painful pressure changes I was constantly getting my whole adult life. Hope you’re recovering okay dude, whatever the result I’m sure it’s going to positive overall for you! ♥️
Though it's very far removed from my personal experience, I'm glad this has been posted to be better informed and possibly cultivate more empathy (no promises...).
Very true on the medical system being fucked right now. My lungs collapsed on me in September 2021 then got admitted and once I got out my gallbladder was on the verge of rupturing and it took them 2 months to actually get me into surgery.
Dude take it slow, you show a lot of people how music works. You have 318k people keeping up with you. I would wait till you recover gladly. Throw some old videos in just for the hell of it, i won't mind. You teach more people music then you realize. Take your time, don't push it. I understand it pays the bills. But i said it before: you have an insane vocal range. Take care and if any spelling sucks, sorry europe here. The whole world is watching.
Glad you're doing better brother. Rest and heal up. Was this your first surgery? I had a lot of similar feelings when I had my first procedure a couple of years ago. I think being a little older (for me) makes you have a different perspective on that sort of thing.
You speak about being a hypochondriac. I wonder if there's a link between being creative and mental abnormalities. Seems to often be prevalent amongst creative folk. Could be wrong
Oh Sweetheart, I wish you loved in Australia! You'd be able to get surgery, it'd be covered by Medicare, & I could give you a high 5. I frikin luv ur guts
