Laura Geller has been my go to everyday make-up for a long time. I continue to try new products for fun but I always go back to Laura Geller. It is nice seeing this make-up brand get some recognition and love.
I’m fairly new to the brand myself, about a month in. I got lucky and also got in the 40% off sale! Tan is the closest shade to me but is still not a perfect match. I still love it though. I’m waiting for Sand to come back in stock because it’s a warmer shade and feel it’ll be a better match. Otherwise, I’m obsessed with the formula! It’s the first baked foundation I’ve EVER had that lasts on my super duper oily greasy Apache skin! I wear this all day at work in my hot, humid warehouse and it survives a good 14 hour day with no touch ups! When I blot with a paper towel, barely any comes off! So I’m crazy happy with this brand! 😍
Tropic Hues is a gorgeous blush from Laura Geller. I love Pink Buttercream. Her French Vanilla is her #1 highlighter. Her products all start out as cream and are then baked in an oven. That’s why some look a little crooked when it’s a split pan. And the cool part is she supports women workers. So the factory that those are made in Italy have employed all women. Such a fun video to watch! 😊❤️💄
I just discovered this make up about a month ago and I am absolutely in love. Especially as a mature woman this has made a huge difference in my make up routine and the way it looks.
I really love your content because you not only try out hyped makeup brands but also other brands that no one talks about. It’s all about the makeup you get excited for, no drama, no shade, just the makeup you love.
They definitely did. It was lost in the din of perpetual launches and new brands, but her products are so good! I also love the double take baked foundation and the spackle mist is definitely worth a try!
I’ve been using the Laura Geller bake and brighten foundation, blushes, and the gelato highlighters for about a year and I LOVE them. I’m so glad the brand is getting some recognition. Now I want to try the bronzers and primers.
Laura Geller actually designed the bronzer and blush to be worn on the eyes too so your spot on Allie! And the fact that it's baked cream formula means buffing it into the skin will turn it back to almost so it performs like a cream. As a makeup artist Iove LG as a natural fresh looking line. They definitely deserve more recognition, they are also sold on QVC and there's always great deals on, they do a BB cream called Quench Tint which is lovely xx lots of love Allie 💕
Their Quench Tint is my favorite tinted moisturizer - I got it in my Ipsy bag and it blends beautifully and just meshes so pretty into my skin!! I went online to buy more, but my color was sold out - so other people must love it too :) 🥰
Gods I love this brand. literally the only brand I've ever purchased that's pain free on my rosacea, covered the awful redness effortlessly and doesn't feel like it's smothering me. I LOVE the spackle primer, but I also swear by the Ideal Fix concealer. A little goes a VERY long way, and between that and the baked balance and brighten foundation the rosacea is pretty much non-existent while I'm wearing it. I love how forgiving it is too. If you mess anything up, it blends out in seconds and doesn't require a full removal and re-application. The Kajal eyeliner is also gorgeous.
Laura Geller makeup is so underrated. Love balance and brighten in the summer. Love the bronzer and the fact u can use it on the body wet as well. I have met Laura Geller and she was so lovely and friendly x
Any idea how much this line is on average? I’ve never heard of the brand but this makes me want to try it - especially the foundation, it seems perfect for me 😍
I’m so glad you’re loving Laura Geller!!! She is the makeup artist who really put primer on the map, as well as baked cream-to-powder formulas. I love the French Vanilla highlighter - it works great as an eyeshadow, too. 😊 Just ordered my first Allie Glines makeup bag, even though I am supposed to be on a strict no-buy (don’t tell my husband, lol). Can’t wait to get it and use it on my trip to New Orleans in November!
Laura Geller spackle primers are my favorite. The two you picked up are my two faves of the bunch. I love her highlighters and her bronzer and her blushes so much.
Yup, love me my Laura Geller! I'm using the Fair now but I think I'm your shade twin because I really think Porcelain will suit me in the winter. Yes, more Laura Geller please! ❤
I absolutely love this! I've been using Laura Geller for about 6 months (early 60's) and it's great to see someone from another generation using this fantastic product. My skin is actually improving (have Rosacea which is now 99% gone). The application tips in this video have changed how I do things. Other day my age was guessed as "late 40's" - I'll take it!
You did what I do on any day I'm in a hurry - I use the bronzer in my crease and one of the blushes on my lids. I love that monochromatic look and her products are the best for achieving it. I have several of her blushes and I depot them and keep them in a Z palette. Then I mix and blend anything I feel like for that day!! I hope you continue to explore her products. Her eyeshadow duos are so much fun. Again, you can create an entire eye look from a duo because you go in dry then wet your brush to create more intensity where you want it. Just so good!!!
I've had the grapefruit blush and that duo highlighter for years...love them! So glad you're trying more of her products; she really is the best, and they do some great sales a lot too.
Laura Geller makes some of my favorites products! Her blushes and bronzers are just beautiful! I'd love to see you review and try more of her products! It's good to see her get some love here on RU-vid.
I’m so glad to hear you say that mixing the foundation colors works well for you - fair is a tch too dark, and I’m afraid porcelain will be too light (waiting for it to arrive), so I was pondering my next step. Now I know I can mix them 😀
I bought her foundation back in the mid 90s when she debuted on QVC. She also had these powder eyeshadow pencils that I loved. I’m a pro makeup artist and I use pink grapefruit blush as a go to on clients. I find that I usually skip bronzer when I use it to have it show itself and not mix with the bronzer. I often skip highlighter too when I use it. I also have a full on matte blush called raspberry something ( forgot name) but it’s very pretty too
Laura Geller’s foundation was my first foundation I used way back when I was younger and she first started on QVC (yes that long ago) because my Mom bought it for me when she saw I was really getting into makeup and was using it herself too, lol. Since then I’ve tried hundreds of new foundations (I like trying ALL the new ones) and always go back to hers.
After she sold her company (not sure if she is just is still with it as a name and personality or if she bought it back)for several years qvc was only place to get her stuff. I've had her products for yrs
I have been in love with Laura Gellar for a few years now. The first large palette I bought was her 31 shade palette. Love her ethereal spackle. Spackle! HaHaHa! I definitely think her brand is more for the more mature audience. Thanks for reviewing her products!
I have a lot of Laura Geller products, & have not been disappointed by any of them. While I of course like somethings more than others, I really can’t say I truly dislike anything i own. I am pretty picky about my makeup, so really liking everything in the nice sized collection that I have, is a pretty big deal to me.💞I think you should definitely try some other products out because I feel that you will not be disappointed! I’m definitely going to match one of my Laura Geller blushes, by using it as eyeshadow next time, & possibly mix a little in with a non sticky gloss, for a full monochromatic look. For some reason I haven’t done a monochromatic look in a while, & seeing how gorgeous your eyes and cheeks looked, you definitely inspired me to start doing some again 💖. Loved the way everything looked on you & would be curious to see how you like the eye products & any other products that interest you! 💕
I love the foundation, bronzer & highlighter too. I have dry skin and it looks so nice, not dull or too matte. I might grab a blush and the primer too! Easy travel make up too!
Just tried the grapefruit blush. Love it, I also used as a eyeshadow. Love it! The lip pencils are fantastic. Very creamy, hibiscus is stunning. Like blossom lip liner also. Regal lipstick is old school glam creamy real lipstick. Lip products made in Germany. Still waiting on my medium gold foundation. I know the medium would work, but I am tan already. I am super impressed so far. May try the primer and kajal pencils next! Great video. Thanks!
I have used French vanilla now for 18 years. I use it at the inner corner of the eyes, and outer corners. Also, as a highlight and brow bone highlight. It gives an instant lift. Years ago when she was sold at Ulta, the fench vanilla highlighter was in the 21 days of beauty sale. I have bought many.
The ethereal rose primer is super lovely and my new fave! Have been using the brand for years and am in AUSTRALIA!!! Pink grapefruit is my absolute go to blush! I use only laura Geller make up for some years now. Their lash boss mascara is so good but they recently discontinued it - sigh! Glad to see this lovely brand get some recognition or social media time. Xx
Loving your videos! I am learning so much! I didn't wear any makeup until recently and am now slowly getting new skills through your videos! Always going for the most natural look so your videos are perfect for me! I wish I could but Laura Geller products here in Germany, but shipping is sooooo expensive!
Allie, why have I never thought to flatten my brush with bronzer and sweep it across like a transition shade to deepen things up in the eyes?! I tried it today when I saw you do it, and I definitely plan on making it a part of my 5-10 minutes out the door routine! Thanks! 💞
I watched your first video of the powder foundation, I ordered it am in love also, then got the email for the 40 % sale and stocked up on several different products. Thank you so much as this is my absolute favorite foundation powder I been using it exclusively since I received it . I am 55 and it looks amazing on my skin . So grateful I watched your first video . 💖💖
I’m in love with the baked gelato swirl illuminator by Laura Gellar in the shade diamond dust & the baked blush-n-brighten in the shade pink buttercream. They are both so beautiful!
I bought the foundation after watching your last video and I love it too! It is so easy to apply and looks so natural. I might have to go get that blush now. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for reviewing this make up! I have become a big fan, especially of the blushes and the Kajal eyeliners. The eyeliners are the best I’ve ever used-went from Lancôme to Laura Geller Kajal, which is easily blendable when first applied and then really stays put. Would love to see you review this line again.
Hi Allie!!! I just come across one of Laura Geller video. She was doing her morning routine with all her make up products. And when I saw your video with her products, I was excited. Please try more of her line, maybe make a dedicated video all Laura Geller lines. Thank you.
Hi allie!! Please try the Brooklyn and Bailey lash next door mascara!! It gives me SOOOO MUCH VOLUME! And gives just the right amount of clump! Please try it! I know you would love it!! Ily!
Looks like Laura Geller needs more love 💕 than it’s been getting. That highlighter! All glow no glitter??? That should be everyone’s HOLY GRAIL! I can tell you love the foundation. You just light up, Allie 😘💋
Great video!! Laura Geller Blush is THE best (IMO)!! And luv her Balance-n-Brighten and Balance-n-Glow foundations, her Spackles … and especially her bronzers … she makes a “big deal” saying her bronzers are “never orange” or (muddy) and I totally agree!! Her “Baked Body Frosting” CAN’T be beat … I wear it every day … I suggest you try it next!! QVC has THE best deals on LG 👏🙂
I’m fair like you and find the pink buttercream a great blush color for lighter complexion. The pink grapefruit is for more medium+ skin. Can’t be without the French vanilla. I also love for quick eye. Bronzer in crease and French vanilla on lid
LG is my go to line for over a decade. I love her OG Spackle, foundation, bronzer, blush , highlighters, body frosting, marble lipstick, & kajal liners.
I’d never tried Laura Geller until seeing your video about the foundation-which I purchased, and love, and have been wearing daily! Please keep trying out her stuff-I’m off to check out the primers now!
I'm glad you discovered her products. I've been using some products for a bit now. I have a couple palettes that are very pretty amongst a few other things (lip products, etc). Love everything you used, very pretty, soft look!! xoxo ❤😘
I'm really happy with my Laura Geller powder foundation, I think I need to try the primers too. I have the blush pink buttercream & use it also on my eyes. The french toast baked highlighter is wonderful! I'd love u to do show with even more of their product. You are so Beautiful & I love watching how to apply make up, I have learned such from you.
I am so happy to hear that you found Laura Geller and are enjoying it so much. I am pretty make up challenged but her foundation is one of the things that has made my life so much easier over the years. Laura Geller has a New York boutique and she’s big in New York and on the East Coast so maybe that’s why you hadn’t heard of her a lot but I just love everything about her -her products her personality when she’s on QVC another shows -she makes me laugh a lot. Thank you so much for doing these last few videos on her -they remind me how much I love Laura Geller.
I use that primer as a go to for no makeup days after my applying facial serums! It doesn't clog pores and isn't greasy. I found it through my boxycharm. Awesome to see it being used by you. Love your videos.
I love this foundation and bought it to try from your first review. Like you, I am in between colors. I bought the medium originally, and I need that neutral color the medium provides, but I am not tan enough yet for it alone. I just bought the Fair to mix with the medium. The Fair foundation is part of that neutral color palette, so I hope this blend will work. Next, I will have to try her blush and bronzers, and maybe the highlighter too. The pearl blushes seem shimmery enough, but you are right that her highlighter is not glittery, and that makes me want it. Thank you so much for buying more products and sharing this video. This really is my new favorite foundation.
