GGG is notorious for following up juiced ass leagues like this with absolute gut fest of nerfs and changes that make the next 1-3 leagues feel like ass to play with unrewarding mechanics while later on in some future interview talking about how affliction was "too rewarding" Look at the state of Ultimatum right now. When that was the league it was insane with rewards and so much fun with huge loot explosions. They finally bring it back and it's terrible with no worthwhile rewards for doing
Yup. This league is special. The first few things I've got after finishing campaign was a 4 flask mageblood, ricochet forbidden flame (which sold really high, because tornado shot is very popular) and then almost perfect ventors, that sold high as well. First time I've had hundreds of divines in my stash since I started playing. :D
@@frenzytrade3698 i dont disagree but the only reason it's so rewarding is because of how it's being combined with abyss. it's rewarding either way but that interaction takes it to a new level and makes things dumb. It rewards playing low tier easy maps over high level harder ones so you get tons of currency and items for little risk. if they abyss interaction wasn't possible people would be playing onT16 maps and while they'd still get a load of currency, it wouldn't be as crazy as it is now
Wow Justin lets just say you've played since the start of sentinel which was may 13th. That be around 600ish days till now. Thats 600days×24hours= around 14,4k hours in total. So if my math is not that wrong you played around 64% of Poe everyday... Dude thats bad... Pls get some fresh air hell naw.
Man, don't feel bad at all, you got incredibly lucky and should enjoy it. There's a reason they're so rare and called "chase uniques". Keeps people grinding for their turn someday
@@bawzzzz I remember my 2nd league I dropped a headhunter, and got a mageblood through gwennen after 200 astragalis and a bunch of other good items from having a very small playtime. I now grind multiple million kills per league to try and get that feeling again and it hardly happens. People do just get lucky, interested to see if it continues for him.
I honestly think this is one of the better leagues to not feel bad about doubled MB drop and just enjoy the belt and currency you get by selling it! I'd argue this is league it is easier to farm either a HH or MB (or literally any other chase unique) since like... Sentinel? Stuff's just so incredibly juicy even when not going full balls to the walls with investment (and with investment it is even better.) Your drop luck this league has been amazing!
I'm up to a cumulative 8000+ hours of PoE, maybe 500-1000 hours of dedicated magic finding in that time, and never dropped a singular item that sold for more than 40 divines. In like, 100-200 hours, this man found like 3 or 4 items that cumulatively equate to what, ten times the value of my luckiest drop ever in that time? Not really upset, just kinda dumbfounded. I don't expect to ever see these items, but I also didn't expect to witness anything like this by anyone else.
@@blindorize I know it is hard to believe, but these companies love streamers and how they basically act as free marketing for them. PoE had streamer priority queue didn't it? I don't see why they wouldn't bump up drop rates to get 'le epic reaction' clips.
15k hours, I run giga juice maps since at least 8 leagues and I have yet to found a t0 unique or a mirror. At least I gambled 54 mirror shard cards out of 8, so well, luck comes in many forms I guess :p
My first 5 leagues I did not get enough currency through the entire league to afford a mageblood or headhunter. I dont think 80% of players have ever used headhunter or mageblood.
Most people just don't play the league that long. 50 hours is an incredible amount of time to invest into a game for a lot of people, and by your estimate it could take them hundreds to get a Mageblood if they wanted it last league for example. You're really out of touch my guy. @@wanshurst2416
I think someone else said it, but wisping is not normal experience. I’ve dropped 2 magebloods this league solo in under 100 maps. Enjoy the reward and make a sick build. No reason to feel bad… market will adjust and the chat Andy’s will reap benefit if they can get to the content as always. That’s why magebloods are 180d instead of the 300+ they normally are. Really glad to see you playing path now. And a note: most leagues are this fun in their own way… but nervous about the dopamine stacking in 3.23 going into 3.24! haha take care
Been insane league lol. I've shared on multiple videos, but I'll say it again. I dropped a Mirror and a 4 flask Mageblood in the same map. I haven't had a nerdgasm like that in years 🤣🤣 gratz on the double Mageblood. And thanks for being a PoE streamer now
I got my first mageblood drop yesterday and I felt bad afterwards too, I just started POE last league and I understand the importance and how much effort people have put into getting one and haven't. Granted, I bloody love it and not going to stop using it till the end of the league lol
HH and 2 MBs his basically first league that he plays for serious..... after 8 yrs of playing I have yet to see a raw drop like that.... Streamer Client is real, 4 sure
You shouldn't feel bad aboiut finding a chase item like that. Yes, you got incredibly lucky to find one and even luckier to have it duped. But most of the people complaining about never finding a T0 after X thousand hours are the people sitting in their hideout playing with their gear and running 5 unjuiced maps an hour. You're striving to learn the game and play it at a high level and it's paying off. Enjoy it, you earned it.
He'll be able to recalibrate. Logically, he knows and understand that this isn't normal/typical. He makes that clear. He also is the type of player that enjoys endless grinds where you don't get that "carrot on the stick" reward until hundreds of hours have passed.

That is some impostor syndrome creeping in. It's just RNG dude, don't let it get to you. There was once a post in the forums back in Betrayal league of some dude getting a triple mirror drop from the mechanic's currency reward, not even a streamer or anything. On the other side of the fence Alkaiser found a Mageblood back in the first league it was released into the game in the first couple of days without even trying. If you want to feel better try double-corrupting both after divining them to 4 flasks and see if your luck holds up.

Congrats. I think that's the best league for new players to start. It' tens of times more rewarding then any of the previous leagues. I'm playing for the last 5 years hundreds of hours every league and so far I drop only one Mageblood and HH only from natural Doctors (Nurses + Patients) drop.
I’ve never played PoE. Can someone explain how good / rare Mageblood is, maybe in terms of Diablo 2 or Diablo 4? (I can tell this is quite insane from his reaction and the comment section.)
I think there is no content you actually need a mageblood to complete. Only this is good for is to satisfy people's desire to get powerful items and minmax. And for feling bad for a luck - there are people who getting several mirrors for a single sanctum run. Nothing in any game is worth to feel bad about.
I really like that Rax is happy playing arpg. I can tell he wasnt happy at all with D4 apart few small funny bugs there. Its hard to see how can Rax enjoy D4 next season if we know its nothing major and even until next expansion later 2024.

Just gotta say this cause i was playing WOW when an Item dropped(do to someone working at blizzard messing with loot tables) in MC that wasnt in game yet that was an Legendary neckless in vanilla wow. Talisman of Binding Shard. The fact that POE dev was in his chat ruins the legitimacy of it for me.
Remember that time when GGG selected some streamers to have priority on the queue list to login so they showed they can modify the game to benefit specific people? Well, with things like this happening with streamers when they decide to try the game, it gets really suspicious.
For new players out there: Loot does not look like this at all in a normal league. This league is incredibly juiced and easy to farm currency, which is fun but it gets boring after a while. Regular leagues are a lot more interesting bcoz you have to REALLY put in some long work to farm for what you wanted. Dropping a MB or a HH should be near impossible. Been playing for 3 years and i finally dropped a MB this league, wasnt as stoked as i thought id be but i was still kinda happy.
If you want to get an insane drop in poe, this is certainly the league for it. Very glad to see you join us exiles in wraeclast and wish you many good drops :) I'm aiming for a mirror drop as I've "only" had one drop before😅

People laughing about "not 4 flasks" are braindead when you have an item costing hundreds of divine orbs and every 1 divine orb used on it has a 33% chance for a perfect roll.
I dropped mageblood in its first league and it took me 40 divines, RNG giveth and taketh luckily that was before the metacraft currency swap. But ya, your point still stands.
I'm now starting to believe that the rarity cap isn't real anymore, or perhaps streamer client or he embodied steelmage in all the past leagues combined.

Streamer RNG confirmed. Dude has never played PoE and gets drops like this while I have over 2,000 hours in T16 maps and have never droped a mirror, mageblood, or headhunter.
If you don't have 2K hours of mega-juicing maps this league then it's irrelevant. This league drops so many T0 uniques, divines and high-tier currency.

I was simply pointing out that Raxx doesn't either. Look at all the new players like Darth Microtranaction, coming into PoE, and suddenly getting drops that even long-term players have never had. It is pathetic that even juicing maps Raxx can get three magebloods with what, a couple hundred hours max playtime?
Been playing since 2013 (on off but a lot of time really actively) - never got any of big drops. I've been playing up to 16h a day in this league and nothing. And he gets it first league? I am not bitter at Raxx, he has nothing to do with it, cool he got the drop, but this really killed the will for me to play.
For any new players this league is like jumping straight on meth as youe first substance you ever use. This will cause a lot of complains next league lol

Ive played for 1500 or so hours and the biggest single drop I've ever had was a doctor card early this league. it doesn't bother me and I dont think he should feel bad. I enjoy the game regardless of what drops.
Man I love how people playing this game for a few seasons can get this drop meanwhile I have like 4k hours and get multiple characters to at least lvl 95 every season never seen mage blood drop in my life..
